So wrong. If you do not save gold, you basically will not have any new cards when expansion is out. Would you rather have all the new cards on the first day, or spread out the process over a few months? The answer should be clear.
If there is nothing you need than sure. If you are still needing cards or adventures the gold should be spent as soon as you have enough saved up. You collect no interest on your banked gold.
I started a month ago and after doing about 10 arenas I have decided to get all wings for both adventures. It will be a long 2 to 4 months but there are many good cards in the adventures that are necessary and cannot be acquired through other means.
Apostate
don't get all BRM get 1 wing only for Emperor Thaurissan if you plan on zoo then get 2 the first wing also got Grim Patron [/card] for warrior and [card]quick shot for hunter
naxx get asap at least 4 wings the fifth is good if you plan on druid or oil rouge (shade of naxxramas, and it's not so played in rouge too) Kel'Thuzad is nice but not too much you will find him stuck in your hand most of the time unless you can cheat him with thaurissan or innervate.
don't get the fifth BRM wing ATM it contains nothing, third wing got Flamewaker and forth wing got Fireguard Destroyer.. not sure if they are worth your gold... BRM is kind of a failure, I bought all wings and all I have been using is the heroic card back and the first 2 wings.
the 4th wing of naxxramas is used by all classes well mabe except rouge containing stample cards like Zombie Chow,Mad Scientist and Death's Bite. so yeah get it ASAP but the fifth wing can wait till you have a better collection unless you play druid a lot or really want KT.
What i really think is that we will not see soon a new expansion/adventure, and if you want to save gold for next expansion i don't think it's a good idea. Introducing more cards in the game is really difficult and most of the time blizz compare stats and effects of old cards to introduce new ones and most of the time the new ones are not really good as the old ones except for dottor GG. Also the new expansions are introduced to create new synergies with the old cards like spare parts and Antonidas, so if you are missing old cards like Grommash Antonidas Jaraxxus... my suggestion is to get the old ones first.
