when all i know is, when all the skins are available, everyone, including most of you guys, will have all the skins ^^ but oh well, keep ranting, fun to read!
I guarantee you I won't have them. Not all of them at least. IF I buy ONE, it'll be Druid, because it was the first class I got golden, it's the one I've played the longest and the one I prefer to play. So at least I know I'll get use out of it. But I still think they're a silly, money milking idea.
Even though they say there are no plans for a bundle pack right now, that is right now, when they're all released they will most likely do something similar to a bundle for it, I can almost guarantee it. Now I could be wrong of course but they do stuff like that on most of their games as of right now, Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm and so on (mostly those two), so it is not out of the question to see it happen with this after all 9 are released.
Seems a bit classist to me. But, given this is F2P, and this does NOT, in any way, make the rich any more powerful in-game, and Blizzard NEEDS to fund this game and make profit of these, it's a bit fine by me. It's more of a luxury than a necessity.
Think of it this way: League of Legends skins can only be obtained by RP (save some other means) and these are like League of Legends skins.
Also, you can better differentiate a "P2W" player from a P2Progress player.
One solution is just to spend less on packs - was planning on buying a bunch of the next expansion, I can easily offset the heroes from what I was planning to spend there and just hit up arena a bit harder.
The shittiest thing is my bank would charge me $2 in foreign currency transaction fees to make each micropayment in dollars.
My initial reaction was that it was too high, but I think that's because I felt like you needed to buy all of them. Once I got past that I sort of realized it's like skins in other games where you're really only ever going to buy one or two of them, for whatever classes you play the most. And as much as I like the ol' dwarf I'm probably going to at least wait to see the others in case they catch my eye more.

I think so too. I guess I'll budget for 1 or 2 skins. So, probably Warlock and maybe rogue or paladin.
And interesting side effect of this might be that people play LESS diversity and become more specialized (thus making the game more boring?), because you want to play with the skins you paid $10 for exclusively.
Actually I am quite happy they are putting the "real money only" to cosmetic stuff, about which I could not care less! I just hope that they are not setting a precedent to do the same thing in the future for stuff that really effects the game ... Sure, the f2p was the basic idea of Hearthstone but maybe the skins are just one step away from this idea with others to follow!

Yeah, there is no huge drama but I have to say, 10 bugs is hefty, I would have actually spend more money if it would be 5 bugs. I would have probably bought 3, now I'll wait and see if there is a one that looks cool for a class I care about. But i'm not in any way surprised so I don't feel angry about it. It was to be expected and for cosmetics... eh. with Heroes of the Storm they fucked the pricing much more so what gives.
10 bugs is not much but especially with summer sales coming up on GoG and stream, that's between 2-4 games.
100 % agree here. From my point of view I will buy every cool looking hero. Changing Rexxar to a more cool looking character is something I always wanted.
The change to f2p games that you spend money on For buying skins and packs does'nt bother me too much.
What does bother me is that instead of real content, and strategy to the game we should be thrilled by a portrait and 5 quotes i mean, come on blizz!
Just like the release of hots featured a huge global event, but almost no changes were made to the game since closed beta! Not even the new maps we were promised... Something bad is happening to you blizz..
As a Card back collector maniac, I'm sad they decided to include a card back with the new hero skin. The price is too high i sure won't buy the 9 new heroes/ cards back so my collection will be incomplete :(
I like how so many people bitch about it here

I usually like and enjoy blizzard games (purchased and played most of them).
With hearthstone, I have purchased hundreds of packs with real money and I have no regrets.
I see it as supporting the company for this game that I spend so much time playing.
Blizzard is not a non-profit organization.
Regarding these skins, I will most likely not even blink and buy whichever skin I like.
10 bucks for a hobby gimmick (that I hadn't spent money on for months) is fine.
I do not play all classes religiously so for me 10 is most likely the ceiling (unless some of the heroes are mindblowing, which I doubt)
Meh im on the sidelines if they release a hero i really like korgall fizzlebang etc i might

I really really like blizzard.

It should be common knowledge that this generation is spending way too much for entertainment (in HS this is cards & now cosmetic items too)
I'm sad about the things devs spend their time on instead of introducing new game modes\mechanics and improving ladder system in general.
this just seems, money grab to me. it adds nothing to the game whatsoever and costs £90. wtf? who is so foolish to buy these?
long time magic player and I buy packs. Will never buy these. cosmetic hero or 5 packs....

More slots for decks i would gladly pay $10 for, cash for a Cosmetic Accessory is just typical Blizzard. No idea why anyone didn't expect this.
Why not selling additional Deck Slots? Why Blizz?
