Hokay, so aggro is about 90% of the playerbase while ranking up. How is it in legend? The reason I ask is to find out if there is any point in playing whatsoever. Playing vs aggro is not fun, whether I win or lose, it's simply not fun. so if I actually take the time to get to legend, it's only going to be for the purpose of cutting out aggro decks and attempting to actually have fun in this game. So tell me, what percentage of players are playing aggro in legend?

You're not going to make it to Legend with that attitude
If you do make it to Legend with that attitude, you're still not going to enjoy yourself
It's amazing how people are incapable of answering a simple question. Is there any HS forum with strict mods that penalize people for off topic replies?
How the hell can anybody know the answer to your question? The amount of people playing in the legendary ranks changes every minute, people who play in the legendary rank will switch to a different deck from time to time. Even if you reach legend rank, you will still face aggro decks from time to time.
Aggro will always be around. But if it's a lot lower at a higher level then I'd be happier to play. I said that. I figure some people in legend would know. Is it too early in the season?
patron warrior and zoo are the fastest deck to legendary rank in this season in CN server. one of my friend hits #1 the day before yesterday. He played zoo.
Yes, there is less aggro at legend. The ranking system is different and winrate is more important than the raw number of victories, so people tend to turn to the absolute strongest decks rather than the fastest strong ones. It is a more diverse meta; there are also always a fair number of people trying out gimmicky or experimental decks, although that includes aggro decks too.
Of course, there is no point on the ladder where it's anywhere close to 90% aggro. If you're facing 50% aggro and it feels like 90%, then facing 40% aggro at legend probably isn't going to feel any different. Aggro is always going to be part of the game. Better make your peace with it.
yes you encounter much less aggro i would say from rank 3 and above. you still find some but it's not like ranks 20-5 where more than half your games are against aggro.

Does it matter? I asked a question.
You did not only a question. You make a statement based on NOTHING, then you asked a question with this assumption backing it off. So yes, it really matters that you provide the source of your statistic. Because, I made Legend several times and it's far, far from 90 % aggro I've encountered on my way up there. This season, ''aggro'' (which vastly include many deck types from Face Hunter, to Spell Tempo Mage, to Zoo Warlock) barely count for 23 % of the decks I've encountered so far (24 games out of 101 so far in ranked).
And with that bad attitude, you're not helping your thread.

Nope. Same amount of aggro all the way up on the ladder. There is no proff that aggro diminush by ranking up. Not at all. Good Face Hunter players are laddering faster.

there is no proof?lol, i'm speaking from experience , i reached legend the last 4 seasons and i know what i've encountered, and it's much less aggro as i rank up , that's all the proof i need.

Just a number he pulled out of a hat to prove a point. It's definitely not true that the ladder consists of 90% aggro.

then american meta is very different from the european one, because i just told you what i encounter and the more i climb the less aggro i see, i'm feeling this season already , from 16 to rank 6 i ran into 61 percent of agressive decks ( mostly face hunter but some tempo mages and zoo too) from rank 6 to 4 i ran into 1 face hunter and that's all the aggro i encountered. so like i said you're either not tracking your stats and are just making stuff up or US server meta is much different that EU, which is possible.

I track my stats (trying to discredit someone by this is not good). If you consider Grim Patron as an ''aggro'' deck... it might be something counting into the 61 % of the agressive deck there. I'm not counting Patron in this category, rather then the midrange/combo one.

Another usual day on hearthpwn: a new aggro-hate-thread, finely coated in completely made-up statistics and a 'question' that is used to bash on people that question the sense of those threads... wonderful! In an attempt to take it seriously: yes, according to my experience aggro diminishes in higher ranks, although general meta trends are also important...
