Did not realise they'd done this before. I'm mostly familiar with WoW, and they tend to shy away from mentioning specific people or guilds there, usually being quoted as saying that they can't give information about specific accounts.

So, what did they do? They insta conceded or someone conceded to them or something like that?
Well I haven't seen blizzard say exactly what it is ( you know how they are, such pleasant good PR people ) but from reading I conclude that it's basically 2 or more legend-rank players queing into each other at off hours to make one climb.
So let's say I do this on NA with my friend or another legend account. You press "play" on both accounts at the same time so the matchmaking system is highly likely to match both of you. Then one concedes.
Repeat as much as you can to boost your legend rank until you get top16 ( or whatever is it ) and qualify for blizzcon.
Win trading is not people who farm rank20 by conceding half their games.

Even during off hours, whats the probability of them being matched up?

depends on how many accounts they're using. its not hard for some of these people to get multiple people to assist them. If their streamers they may have some of their viewers who are in similar ranks assist them.

Doctor Who? Dr. Boom. Timelord and Friend of All Daleks(Boom Bot).

I would think fairly high. I see kripp getting sniped constantly while playing arenas. People simply wait at X wins and then when kripp presses that "play" button, they press play and it seems to work really often. I also saw Kripp Snipe Tay Zonday at like 0 wins in arena lol.
So I imagine that if two legend-level accounts try this, it'll work pretty well since legends queuing are rare enough that even at high level ranks during peaks hours I see streamers being paired against rank 3-1 people.

If you press play at basically the exact same moment and are close enough in rank, it's actually quite high.

There would be a delay on his stream, so that's a bit hard to get spot on!?
I have had it happen multiple times by sheer luck against unknown opponents. Playing in off times I play against someone, we play the full game, one wins, one loses, then we both just instantly hit play after exiting that game and end up playing each other again. If it can happen that often without it being set up, then I'd have to imagine it isn't that difficult to coordinate.

Well well well, seems Blizzard is turning to public shaming as a deterent for cheating. Wonder if they'll start doing this more or in other games.

Faith in Blizzard slowly being restored.
Didn't they always do that? I think I recall something both with Diablo and SC2 but I could be totally mistaken there.
So I did never hear of those guys but yeah, good stuff.

Good. Put these people to shame.
