i dusted my entire zoo deck but i dont regret it as it was my first deck and i have played so many games with it that i dont want to play it again in my life. later i dusted my midrange hunter completely too as i had an almost complete midrange druid and i hate hunter. i ended up with 2 decks less but i crafted the cards i wanted so im okay with it. i enjoy druid/rogue/shaman/paladin more than everything else, so now that i settled in those 4 classes i de everything that its not for these classes. especially the amount and the quality of priests cards i dusted is unimaginable. golden staple rares and epics a lot of them. but i hate priest so thats ok too. i believe if you are free to play you must focus on 3-4 classes and drop the rest. you cant have everything
Dusted Harrison Jones when i just started playing and needed the dust so I don't really regret it but still, would be nice to have him and also i regret dusting Onyxia because of the dragon synergies to come...
Also gold Bane of Doom 2 days before they buffed it which ruined my day.
And maybe the second time i dusted Prophet Velen and OTK priest became popular again.
so in short only dust GOLDEN legendaries you don't want.
yeah well it depends. i play 4 classes and 4 classes only so even if i open a golden vol jin i will de him. legendaries are overrated, there are a few you really need. the others are just for show
I have never regretted dusting my Golden Tirion and Golden Alakir, my Gruul, my Millhouse Manastorm, and my Barron Geddon. As a boring F2P(ive bought 10 packs GvG 1 wing Naxx total $16.99) druid only user i do not regret crafting 2 lores two wars ysera sylvanus cenarius. i was lucky enough to draw ragnaros boom alexstraza. honeestly my current druid decks in this meta are mid range aggro so i dont use them but i did get legendary with them b for the meta became cancer : /
Boy, do I have some regrets... But they were reasonably dustings at the time!
I started out like any normal Hearthstone player in, oh, April or June of 2014. I remember that the first golden Legendary I ever got was Prophet Velen, which depressed me because I didn't like Priest at the time (and still don't particularly, to be honest). But anyway, I hung onto him for a while and eventually just had to dust him when I really need Leeroy or some legendary that was at the top of the craft list at the time (amazing that once upon a time the top 3 legendaries to craft were Rag, Sylvanas, and Leeroy). Around this time I opened a golden Gruul that I dusted, as well.
Anyway, I wound up spending a bit too much money and play insane amounts of Arena to progress my collection because I really just wanted to have the option to play *anything* I wanted at any given time, so I got very into obsessively collecting for every class. In short order (by the time Naxx came out, at least) I had 2 copies of all the truly necessary cards for pretty much ever class - there were a couple tiny blind spots but not many. So I started collecting golden cards. And that started me on a very long quest that has lasted a very long time. And my golden collection is embarrassingly close to completion, particularly in the Classic set; even the GvG set is doing damn well, though.
But the terrible thing is that two of the fairly useless legendaries that I certainly never opened golden copies of in any classic pack? Velen and Gruul. And there's no way I'd ever craft those. All the golden legendaries I'm missing in the classic set are useless cards to be frank - the only class ones are Velen and King Krush, and then the neutral ones are Nat, Cho, Millhouse, Tinkmaster, The Beast, Gruul, Nozdormu, and... Deathwing. A total of 10. And they're all like Velen and Gruul more or less, cards I'd almost never use. Except maybe Deathwing in some very absurd gimmicky decks. But barely at that. Velen actually probably has the most potential there.
if you want something gold, craft a golden faceless manipulator. i've played it upon my ysera to see the golden dream cards. i've played it on my kel and had two kel, and the resurrects from a golden kel are gold.
That is the last card I will ever dust, my golden faceless. Makes a pretty good leeroy copy in my handlock too ;)
My one dusting regret is letting my kid sister onto my laptop, there go allll my legendary's

Dusted Lorewalker Cho because it was my first legendary and I was angry that it wasn't a better one. Regretted it ever since. Not that it's a good card, but now I have this huge collection and no Lorewalker. I regret dusting one of my snake traps, because then a lot of decks were later discovered that used 2x snakes. Also regret dusting my 2 Banes of Doom, now that one is Blizzards fault because the card used to legitimately suck ass.
When you're first starting out and falling in love with one class and ignoring the rest, just trying to netdeck something you find cool, and disenchant a Lord Jaraxxus since you really think Shadowform will be the tits.
No not really. I follow the rules of only dusting cards that I have unusable extra copies. Except for one card. Angry Chicken. Every single Chicken I pulled is disenchanted with extreme prejudice.

I dusted my first two Legendaries when I started in open beta: Grommash Hellscream and Captain Greenskin because I thought I'd never play any weapon class. Started playing Warrior half a year later, crafted Grommash just to get another copy shortly afterwards. Never got another Captain Greenskin so crafted him recently to get the Pirate reward card. Summing up: Never disenchant Legendaries.
I've had The Beast since last July. I don't think I've ever put him in a deck, I'm just so scared that some meta somewhere will include him and I can't bring myself to dust him because I don't want these regrets.
I got rid of him. no regrets.

I feel like the entire hearthstone servers would set ablaze if I tried to dust Tirion, it just feels so.. wrong. You people are sick.
I've dusted Antonidas, The Beast and Nozdorma to name a few. No regrets for any of them.

I fried my The Beast last night. I just simply can't see any potential use for him.
When your dust hits 1,000 there is an irresistible urge to get it to 1,600 as quickly as possible.
