There probably already is a thread about this, but just in case there isn't--I already feel limited with only 9 deck slots. I'm sure the majority want a deck for each class just simply for quest completion, but many also want 2 different decks for certain classes in terms of tempo and style of play. Then there is reacting to the meta; players don't want to delete a relevant deck just because they're making a temporary adjustment or cycling decks. Then there is adventure mode. I mean that mode alone calls for an extra deck slot. And BRM is what now, the 3rd expansion/ major update? Since the game's release there has to have been at least 200 cards released right? We need theory crafting space. We need space for variety, space for fun ideas; especially with the feeling of this game being pay to win more than ever. C'mon blizzard.
They could very easily make it so you could scroll to another page or two or three of 9 decks just like you scroll through your collection with little arrows tucked off to the side. I'm guessing they're thinking of so many big things they've put aside some small things, or they're concerned about each screen getting too crowded. They'll make it work I'm sure, most likely long after BRM rolls out.
You're right, we need more deck slots more than ever before. Still puu.sh does the trick in the meantime.
I assumed that having more than one thread about this subject was fine but since it is not, I Just state my message here instead (I know how the search function works thank you very much.) Didn't realize you posted a few days before me.
You know those arrows in your collection for deck list? They actually are coded in so that if they want to allow more than nine slots, they can do it easily. Same with that arrow thing in play and adventure modes that let you select between basic and your own decks.
Plus, deck data can be safely to be saved locally on the computer if they are concerned how much space it would take to allow more slots. Just mark those slots "only on this computer/device" or something. That way even if the person spams 100 decks, it doesn't fill up server space. Server side check of your deck would make sure that it follows the rules.
If you keep claiming that it is would turn casuals away, you're seriously patronizing them. Casual doesn't equal stupid.
I think that we should at least be given a dedicated adventure deck slot or two. Don't want us to have more than nine deck slots? Fine, then make it so the extra deck slots are only for adventure mode. That way we don't have to delete a class deck to fight the heroic adventure bosses. The tool tip somewhere even advises that the heroic versions will need specialized decks to beat!
