You guys have no brain at all, everyone saying scammer/guys who abuse/trading from free accounts to main and stuff, its so easy to avoid this, for example you need to win over 100 games to achvie the trading rights or you just have to buy a trading pass for example 10 dollars so no one would even try this, and in the other hand blizzard gets the money what they want. It would be so much better to have a trading system.
I dont even know how scammers would benefit from this, in trade theres legendary and basic card, "TRADE IT MY BASIC CARD IS SUPER RARE U CANT GET IT FROM MY PACKS" and only retards would fall something like that. And for example putting a dust meter on each trade, how much dust you would be losing if you trade this to that and stuff.....
I could write here much more but I think you braindead monkeys got my point
If you've won 100 games, then you already have a real deck, and you wouldn't benefit from trading.

What? I have won 1000 games and I have pretty decent amount of decks that I can do but I would definetely benefit from trading. So many times gotten 2 same legendaries, and theres still huge amount of legendaries and stuff I want. Who would have so boring life to play only one deck?
And if you play competitive you cant play with one deck which u have gotten by 100 wins lol? Wtf are you even trying to say to me lmao
Dust. They added dust because then they wouldn't have to add trading. They added dust, so that people who get scrub cards they can't trade can DE them. Dust.

Well its kind of truth if you really thought that it would be so easy to do stuff and stuff what should I call them? VERY SMART THINKING OF COURSE THEY WOULD MAKE IT EASY TO JUST TRADE FROM FREE ACCOUNTS TO MAIN YEAH YEAH ISNT IT OBVIOUS YOU GUYS ARE SMART
100 games isn't exactly hard to spam with a bot. Level restrictions have been tried elsewhere and mean nothing.
Scams typically happen most via bug exploit. For example, some trading systems have a bit of lag it in causing players to be able to pull their items out just before the trade finalizes. You can then fix it later but it's still a matter of many people suffering until the bug is fixed. That's not even getting to exploits into ignorance.
Dust meters, meanwhile, don't fix issues like trading a Millhouse for a Ragnaros. yes, we know that's a stupid thing to do. New players may not, however. You also get around it by putting 4 rares vs 1 legendary, which isn't exactly a good trade either.
Though really that's NOTHING compared to the bug issues, and the bot issue, and the people exploiting the system to get all of the cards fast via mulitple accounts. And gold/dust sellingers, and the like. Note that the 'fixes 'people are offering require even more work to impliment, may not work and may bring more exploitable bugs AND make the trading system useless on top of it.
And the talk about blizzard wanting money so they don't do it: If it was about money then the best option would be to go the trading route. Crafting is the reason why F2Pers can exist as F2Pers. Eliminate crafting, or make it useless, then replace it with a trading system. You can keep calling it F2P by just keeping the Gold element and leting people buy packs with gold still. It would make F2P impossible since the trading price on the actual good legendaries will go through the roof (good luck getting a Dr. boom for some gold and a Foe Reaper :P). But it would force people to buy SO MUCH MORE in packs.
Trading ideas seem to come from folks imaginging trading with friends, which would be exploited without severe limits, and be very useful to a very small group of people, or some situation where they can find a person who has a spare Grommash and just so happens to really want a Foe Reaper for some reason instead of the Justicars or the RL cash that they will probably be offered instead. Which will be rare.
Or folks ready with their 5 accounts to exploit the system with.

You skills at argumentation have changed my entire way of thinking on this issue. Thank you for opening my eyes, sir.
You're also teaching me new ways to write English. I always knew the language was flexible, but you're showing me new ways to arrange the parts of speech.
I don't think that trading would be possible. It would be easier to farm card packs this way. How?
People can create "new" accounts and probably get themselves 3 - 7 card packs (100g for getting all 9 heroes [easy to do this since I can friendly match with myself and insta-concede], 100g for playing 3 games in play mode, free arena card pack, if you have an s6 or can emulate a galaxy s6 you get 3 card packs, etc. etc.) in an hour or less.
Now imagine trading... if you could trade a common <--> rare, then you can get insanely infinite dust this way; if it would be the same rarity then I would just spend hours getting these 3 - 7 card packs to get the legend I want and trade (with myself) with a legend that I don't want, and repeat the cycle again until I have all the cards I want; of course you would also want to limit the trading to non-gold to non-gold card or gold to gold card as I could just trade away any golden card i get for its non-golden version; also, blizzard announces nerfs a week early so I can just create that card with my free account, trade it to my main account and then it's easy dust...
so in the end blizzard loses because they can potentially lose sales from card packs [if you can get 3 - 7 card packs an hour by creating a new (and fake) account, why waste money?]; unless blizzard can implement a system in which it detects such exploits (tracing the IP, then again... I could simply say I made an account for X friends or so be it true or not...), then i don't think a trading system can be implemented
tl:dr - i think that "enabling" a trade can (potentially) lead to a 'card farming exploit'. Unless blizzard can implement a system in which it would be able to detect such activity with 100% accuracy, then i don't think trading can be implemented
It is a little-known fact but there's a similar trading system already in place since beta. You can trade cards with: -
The same quality requirement (no trading a common for a legendary)
The same mana cost requirement (no trading millhouse for ysera)
The same class requirement (no trading druid of the claw for Azure drake)
The same name requirement (no trading flame imp for shieldbearer)
The same gold / non-gold requirement (no trading a non golden card for a golden card)
Once all the above requirements are fulfilled, all you need to do is to double click that card in your collection, restart the hearthstone client and the trade will be completed once you login again.

Can't even trade Target Dummy for a Wisp. And nothing can be traded for Molten Giants.
So we are looking at trades like pilloted shredder for Burly Trogg.
Ehh it's still a shtty interface, but the market is pretty stable. If you are playing standard, idk what is wrong with you. Standard is literally the money investing format, with a rotation system. Just play the popular modern if you don't want to deal with stuff likethat. It's more popular and better than STD. Legcay and Vintage, while both having lasting value is... ugh. And the bots kinda balanced out the market by setting the standard price to sell __ and __, which players can use to gauge the price of cards. The trades are usually fair, unless some random BS springs up, which, let's be honest, happens to every TCG.
Howdy MisterMage here with a new concept for Hearthstone! Ever felt there must be something better to do with your extra copies of cards or just cards you don't want (besides just disenchanting them of course)? Well with this system trade them in for cards you don't have with other players. This could be built into the collection, you and your opponent could both select a card and if both players approve of the trade they officially switch collections (Basic cards would not be 'Tradable'). You could trade with friends or just publicly with anyone. I'm sure there's many ways this could benefit new players and more experienced ones alike (along with that some cons). but who knows maybe some players are feeling generous... you might just get Deathwing for a Wisp!
Except every new account basically gets loads of free cards, so people would just farm new accounts to trade the good cards they get with the random bad commons their main account has in spades.
Of course I would like to trade duplicate cards for other cards I don't have, but it would be a big loss for Blizzard, and that's why it will never be implemented.
It can be too easily abused! And blizzard would lose money so it's not going to happen.. I don't really mind tho, I just wish the dust value of disenchanting could go up a bit.
Except every new account basically gets loads of free cards, so people would just farm new accounts to trade the good cards they get with the random bad commons their main account has in spades.
Basic cards would not be 'tradable' thanks for bringing up the point.

He's not talking about Basic cards. He's talking about stuff like a free pack when you play your first game against a real opponent.

It's not a problem of basic cards. Every single pack I get, I get roughly 4 useless common cards that are instantly dusted, instead I would just trade them for the occasionnal epic or legendary I get on a new account.
