I wouldn't say Amaz was bad, he's just too irritating for me to watch. I like streamers who play good music, often got some new stuff to listen to because of them, I'll take note of a good tune - if they display their songs, and add them to my spotify/grooveshark whatever.
Some of them do play awful muck though, like Forsen.
Great music? highly debatable that one! :D I've seen him play his own music, he plays the odd good tune and then he'll play some awful crud, then just let the viewers cancerise the whole thing.
There is only so much skill involved with Hearthstone and almost every top streamer of HS has said that same point. Kind of makes a thread like this pointless.
But alas, as he has explained before, ladder is boring to him because he has already achieved legend before. Arena, to him, is where the real skill center is because you have to be able to build and pilot a good deck. Does he whine some times? yeah. Dont we all? he isnt fake on his stream. If something pisses him off, he says something about it.
Kripp has never reached legend
my bad. the video i was thinking back to was just him discussing the legend rank and why i means nothing to him, and why he chooses to play arena instead.
Anyway, his resume speaks for itself with the work that he put in with PoE, WoW, and pre nerf D3. He hasnt done anything to lead me to believe that he couldnt dominate the ladder if he chose to. This just doesnt seem to interest him.
A lot of this is attributed to the fact that the streamers you are calling out use streaming to create a persona and utilize this as their career right now. The three players you listed initially are actually very talented, but generally will make mistakes due to their high involvement with their viewers. Strifecro and Kolento continue to do well but most of their interactions consist of talking about plays aloud rather than consistently reading chat. Hyped has even commented on the fact that he doesn't always like to stream due to the fact that he plays much worse due to his attempts to interact.
Hafu is easily the best HS streamer. So, you know nothing, noob.
I think that is an objective opinion. And Hafu sucks major balls on entertainment.
I agree that Hafu is the best female streamer I've watched, and I think she's pretty good. And I also agree that she's pretty dry, so won't be everyone's cup of tea...but I have a dry personality myself, and primarily watch to learn, so it doesn't bother me.
I haven't watched much of DeerNadia, so can't speak to her skills compared to Hafu.
Please read this and think about it! A streamer MUST be good at the game he's playing to get quality viewers which matter the most. You can't compare LegendaryLea(the extreme definition of trash stream) viewers with Xixo(just an example) viewers.
First of all who the fuck likes to watch LegendaryLea like serisously? I would like to have a look at her viewers. No one with a brain should watch her stream.
Gotta say, while I don't watch LegendaryLea, I do check on her occasionally out of morbid curiosity to see how many donations she's gotten that day, and to see how many more people have donated $15,000+ to her. It blows my mind.
The people bashing on the women streamers seriously have to be incredibly ugly and butthurt toward women not liking them. You guys spend so much effort into hating them, lol.
Lea is just trash at the game she only streams for money And all the thirsty kids that donate and wanna !%$# her.Hafu is pretty good and so is Nadia.Trump is boring.Kripp is funny.Kolento and STRIFECRO are beast.Reynade stream is fun to watch.Forsens chat is just........
Amaz is a cartoon.Hes a CHARACTAR.He doesn't exist just %#$@ing overreacts to everything.Rest are meh.

this guy knows what he is talking bout.. like seriously whenever i watch kolento or strifecro stream there is quality game, good logic and explainations and innovative yet competitive decks.. definetely beast streamers and both are top players in the world .. all the other ones are mostly entertaining by making themselves look like apes (amaz im looking at you.. i dislike fake people and you are the definition of fake) from female streamers - magicamy and deernadia imo.. nadia used to have some sort of super fake voice for a while but now her voice is once again okay (dafuq?) and i kinda feel like she is pretty decent in HS + prolly cutest streamer atm..
edit: how could i forgot the based god Kripperino... he is very fun to watch .. prolly the only streamer i can watch for totally entertainment purpose + his insight on the cards and their place is pretty good most of the time... also a guy who alot of people dont mention at all - Dog.. he is very informative and probably one of the better druid/rogue players i have seen.. also i love how he explains all of his options all why some of them are worse/better than others in current situation..
Nadia looks about 14, and people always say she's cute :/ it seems a bit patronising. I don't like her either way. The first time I saw her stream she was dressed up in some role play costume ..
Trump is horrible. He thinks a long time for the easiest decisions. When he explains some things i am like "really? i knew that 2 turns ago, why are you thinking about it now?!" he confuses me so much. My first impression of him was "ok, he must be smart, right?" he looks just like a hardcore nerd. I cant stand hearing him, i would rather watch LegendaryLea. trumpW

You know that magicamy doesn't stream, right? Hafu and Karmaah are the other high level female streamers that I can think of.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Retired streamer and Hearthstone journalist @Shevvek
I've been watching HS stream from season 1 everyday. Stream will be open all day while I play or do other things so average 12h a day.
My feedbacks: [sorry for poor english but I'm too lazy to correct it]
Amaz: Amaz used to be fun to watch, then he become this exaggerated version of himself, an Amaz on steroid and I actually find him very annoying and impossible to follow for a long time. He is a great player, won many tournament and has great insight of the game. If you say he's not it means that you haven't followed the pro scene since season 1. There was a time where he and RDU dominated it. I want to add that I have no respect for a person that display his personal drama (one of his parents passed) for personal profit. Using such thing in your intro video on Youtube to me is of terrible taste. Sellout
Trump: Trump is a nice guy and the perfect streamer to follow if you are new to the game. Very educated and well spoken, always polite he gives very good description of his play. He can be funny in his own way and he got my respect when he exposed himself and spoke about cyberbulling. White Knight
Forsen:There was a time when I always watched Forsen. It was when he played mono miracle rogue. At that times his playlist was clean and nice, his chat wasn't all about cancer and he was a great Miracle player that also explained his thought process. Now that streaming evolved into a job and he actually undestood he's not as good as he tought Forsen stream turned from quality wine into vinegar. His stream target is "Twitch" medium user: teen, superficial, disrespectful. Read his chat to have the perfect image of the new generations produced by our society. DrunkenClown
Massanc:I've watched all streamer for a long time and I watched Massanc too. I like him, he play decently and has a good flow. Nothing above anyone else in terms of entertainment or skills. He is an educational streamer as Trump, just one tier lower. Mr.Average
LegendaryLea:you know, I've also followed Lea a lot expecially during the first seasons. She was charming and brilliant but as many other streamers it seems like success affected her in a negative way. Now Lea is on a downfall spiral, offers a patethic show and should be avoided after the Dreamhack episode with Reynad (violence is a no-no). A girl that flirt with popular streamers (Sodapoppin / Reynad) to steal their fan base, has low self respect and would be better fit in a standard cam girl site. Golddigger
Reynad:my favourite caster to follow. He might not be the best player but one thing you cannot deny. Andrey is real. He say what he thinks and is not afraid of other people opinions. He would vent out even if that would damage his business. I call that "integrity". He had a difficult childhood, growing up with a single mother and with no money. He spoke about going to his neighbour to play videogames since he had no money for a console in tender age. He tries to build original decks, test them on ladder and has a insane good taste for music. There was a time where he was reading all the donations message of insults of his chat. Thank god that time is gone and Reynad is back to his good level of stream. Mr.Natural
Sjow:damn I watched this guy so much! Loved his 90's playist with Seal songs, Aqua and so on. He is a great player, super nice guy and deserve way more credit for the hard work he puts in by the community. Often showed solid performances when invited to tournaments. He is the man that define how Control Warrior should be played every season. He had a period of time where he tried to copy Forsen, with cancer music and so on but now he's back to his usual self. Is nice to see that some guys can't pretend or be someone who they are not. I like you Sjow, keep up the good work buddy. Warrior God
Kolento:what can I add about Koleto that wasn't already written. Skill wise he is top two with Strifecrow, he's not a great entrateiner but I will always connect to his channel to see at what rank he is and what kind of deck he is playing. Once a top player said: "On ladder is the meta that adapt to Kolento not the other way around". Nothing more true could have been said. A crazy good player with a wierd sense of humor. I watch him daily to learn how to fit new cards into standard build. Genius
Strifecro:probably one of my fav streamer to watch right now. He play insanely good, his decks are fun to watch (especially grindr Mage) and he has a nice, cheerful attitude. He offer a high tier educational stream so if you started with Trump / Massanc you can consider moving on and follow this guy if you are experienced enough in the game. A great guy, amazing player and never a sell out. Interact a lot with the chat and that's a plus. Gengis Khan
Hafu:one of the greatest arena players, a kind lady, very polite that offer a good level of entertainment. She played Smite for a while and is not that active anymore. A pity, she was doing very well. If you wanted to learn how to play arena she would have been the one to follow. Arena Queen
TidesofTime:I like Tides, he also had a time when he was great, unfortunatly it seems like he's going trough a hard time and has no balance in real life. The most aggressive Hearthstone player on ladder. He has talent, a good playlist and often reply to chat requests about decks. To me Tides is all right, I hope he'll comeback. Sadie
RDU:As i said I watched and followed all streamers, mostly to learn as much as possible from different playing style. RDU is a nice kiddo, he plays well, get upset sometimes but is very educated and his stream is full of insight and educational. He represent what younger generations can offer in a positive way: witty, funny, respectufl. His results were a little bit poor lately so I can see he is under pressure, he expect a lot from himself. Golden boy
Firebat:the champ, all american hero Firebat is a streamer that offer a good playlist, is really cocky and plays in a terrific way. I don't mind, he is allowed to be arrogant, he had insane results in Hearthstone and got to this point against all odds. I enjoy to watch his stream even if I'm not his greatest fan. He always reply to chat questions and that's very good. Overall a solid streamer and a great player. Champ
Kripparian: I always hated Kripparian and started to follow his stream only in the last months due to the lack of streamer during the European morning. What I can say now is that he is a very good arena player and a good entertainer. I also like how he tries to build decks for construced. Still, I will never understand why so many people follow him. His fan looks as cultist. Godfather
Reckful:I also like Reckful for the same reason I like Reynad. They are booth real. They are not sellout or pretenders. They keep it real and speak out what's in their head. You might not like the attitude but they'll still be there with tons of people watching them. An average player overall that shine for his entertainment skills. Joker
Saviz:A great player indeed, always composed, never over the top, with a soft playlist and laid back attitude. You will like Saviz. He also like to work hard on very difficult decks (as fatigue mage). I'm not mad about him thou, I find his stream a little boring but this is just me. Sleepyhead
Noxious: this guy is a actually very good. Damn I like Noxious a lot! Just started following him and he's great. One of the few players gifted with good common sense. I love his Mekkatorque's Workshop, go check it out if you haven't! He's not a sellout and I respect him for giving his opinion about event that hits the community (hosty cheating). He is a true master of the game, try him out! Cards Architect Ratsmah: new streamer, probably the best arena player in the present state of Hearthstone. Nice, educational, real and cool.
I could also write about Hyped (poserboy), Xixoo, Thijsnl, Mr.Yagut, BrainKibler, Koyouki, Gnimish, Ek0p (Ek0p who? Ah the dragqueen) and many others but I guess this is enough! :)
The only time I see anything of Amy is her hosting other streamers or acting as Mod in them - I thought she was just another bandwagon jumper tbh, riding other streamer's coat-tails, but apparently she's a great player? Didn't she beat Xixo 4-2 the other day?
Can't say much on the female streamers, I don't watch Hafu, because she tries to sing ... terribly, lol ... and also she mostly does arena - I watch GuardsmanBob when i want to watch that. Most under-rated streamer out there. Genuine chat *shock horror* - he does 12 win runs a LOT even when he allows chat select the deck!
I don't count Lea as a proper HS streamer, I don't like Nadia, and well, just don't know the others.
Amaz isn't overrated. He just focuses on the entertainment more than the correct play when he's streaming. If you're following tournament scene, you will see that Amaz finds majority of correct plays and do his math really quickly. "Amaz can't do math" or "Amaz lied" stuff are more like sellouts that add to some flavors to his "personality." In reality, Amaz has very top-notch tournament record, one of the best among Hearthstone pro-gamers.
Forsen isn't "overrated" either. I doubt there are lots of people rating 0-4sen very high in the first place. People go to his stream for entertainment, not to learn how to play.
I don't watch Massan enough to rate him.
Trump's constructed is actually underrated instead of overrated. If you look at win rate instead of ranks, you will find that Trump's win rate is really high. He's not one of top legend player because he doesn't play enough games and takes too long to make a play.
I don't watch Kripp very often because he streams when I'm in bed. If I'm not mistaken, Kripp never made into legend and he's not even trying to. I do remember that he once went to rank 4 from rank 18 without dropping a game, which is actually amazing. I never saw anyone do that before him. I think he's just not trying.
Kolento is good. Music is good. Play is good. Deck is original. Just not very entertaining.
Reynad is actually overrated. He blames RNG way too much. Sometimes it's RNG issue but a lot of times it's because he made terrible plays. I remember once he had an exact lethal but didn't notice it. Next turn, his opponent played an MC Tech and took his 2nd best minion and he started get salty. What's worse was that when the chat pointed out he had lethal, he said something like "Yea, Twitch Chat always has lethal. If you guys are that good at this game, why don't you guys stream" or something. It was really painful to watch.
StrifeCro is my favorite streamer because he explains almost every play he makes. He is somewhat entertaining because he reads and reacts to chat.
Xixo, Savjz and Sjow are all top-tier player but without vivid personality and is like the second choice for lots of people.
I wouldn't say Amaz was bad, he's just too irritating for me to watch. I like streamers who play good music, often got some new stuff to listen to because of them, I'll take note of a good tune - if they display their songs, and add them to my spotify/grooveshark whatever.

Hence why we rate them by their personas too
my bad. the video i was thinking back to was just him discussing the legend rank and why i means nothing to him, and why he chooses to play arena instead.

Ok hears what I would say broken down over all
best entertainment/funny: Amaz and Forsen
Good Informative stream: Trump, Kripp, StrifeCro, life coach
Good in between: Tides of Time, Life Coach, Deer Nadia, Ryzen, FRESHCA
i don't like Trump or Kripp that much (they r not that good)
kolento's stream is decent but awful streamer in terms of interestingness of the stream
So my favorite streamers would be: Amaz, Forsen, Lifecoach, StrifeCrow, Tides of Time, Deer Nadia, Ryzen, and of course Freshca
Time is precious. Waste it wisely. Legend Seasons: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17
Current deck: Not playing much anymore
Highest rank: legend rank 9 Highest finish: legend rank 103 Infinite Arena Player
You know that magicamy doesn't stream, right? Hafu and Karmaah are the other high level female streamers that I can think of.

I don't watch DeerNadia, Lea and Hafu.
