Hello everyone I'm but a humble hearthstone player that tries to get to Leyend rank yet haven't manage to get pass rank 4 in the previous seasons, (No one to blame but myself) So using this last days I try to get a hold of how the game is changing after the undetaker got nerf.
Those are some notes and please, do NOT take them has proffesional feedback has I'm trying to get better at this game has well (So help me understand what's happening) I don't think i can make it to legend this season but I want to get out of rank 7.
1) Hunter went poof: For obivous reasons, without card draw or undertaker has a solid opening the class has hardly anything going for it.
2) More druids: The metagame is getting slower and while this helps all classes that use control decks, Druid has many cards oriented to long lasting games, maybe we are going to see Malorne being run in some decks.
3) Kel'Thuzad is being run in some control decks, I'm looking for a spot on my Control Warrior Deck but I don't know what to remove for it... Geddon? Ragnaros?
4) I haven't seen many handlocks this past few days... To me it seems that Druids have way to many good answers for them and more now that everyone runs BGH in their decks.
5) I used to run 2 Violet Teachers in my Rogue deck (Made it to rank 4 this season before dropping like a rock to rank 7) and I found out that the tokens that this card generates are pointless to Druid and Control Warriors because they have many ways to clear all those 1/1 without losing value.
- Therefore I run now 1 Shade of Naxxaramas and 1 BGH in their place and now the deck seems to have a decent mash up lategame.
Pretty much the same as you on EU. Also a HUGE number of Paladins in addition to Druids. Last 21 games now at Rank 3 : 10 Druids, 9 Paladin, 1 Control Warrior and 1 Mech Warrior.

This gives me a ton of trouble, before I was confident that Control Warrior could handle Druid, now I stand corrected, I went has far has removing Whirlind in order to put in Crush (More removal for lategame drops from the druid) but if I run in to Paladin I don't have early answer for Muster for Battle.
The Druid will drop minions that are far from my Death's Bite reach (5 - 6 Health or Stealh in case of the Shade of Naxxaramas) and that either force me to spend my removal (Shield Slam, Execute, Crush) or to take to much damage putting me close to Force of Nature + Savage Roar combo, it only takes 1 aditional minion that you didn't manage to remove for the burst to get out of control.
I not raging here, Druid had his weak points but I can't capitalize on them with Warrior or Priest.
Rogue does seem to have some sucess against them, I need to do more testing, I do NOT have Trade Prince (I run Sylvana instead) but I put things like BGH and BK on my Rogue deck in order to beat those heavy control decks.
If its any consolation I have been doing well against both druid and paladin with handlock. I normally like to play control warrior which for me does favorable against paladin but tends to get behind against ramp druid. (might just be my experience but I like to think not.) Once I changed to handlock both of these matches became rather easy for me though I have not played enough paladins yet to know if I am getting lucky or if its actually a good match up for me. Overall I am finding myself moving back and forth between these decks depending on what I am queing into.
while huntertaker blowout games weren't the best i do think this game desperately needs a couple of viable aggro decks that are not just different iterations of zoo to punish ramp druids for being greedy otherwise they just get to cram their deck full of late game and dominate. gutting the buzzard was bad and i hope they make it playable again at some point.
Well that's a long title...
