I have opened about 25-30 GvG packs and every single one has had at least one Cobra Shot. Is anyone else getting this? Or maybe with a different common?
Yeah... this kinda sucks about GvG. Small amount of commons makes you disenchant almost all of your packs, even if you have only small collection. This is first big expansion, hopefully blizz will learn a lesson.

Yes, the lesson they will have learned: "higher percentage of rares, epics and legendaries" = "more money for us"

Not really. I think they have to be very careful about things like this. Sure, having higher percentage of legendaries was their clear intention, but maybe they´ve gone little bit too far. Keep in mind that most of the people are not buying packs for real money (yet). They need to keep people motivated to buy more and more (eventually with irl money). And having to disenchant every pack even if you have small collections, is not right way of doing it imo. Sure, you could argue the opposite, but i think we will see more ´´cheaper´´ cards in future expansions.
I just opened 40 packs and got 12....2 in one pack
Come to think of it I did draw two in a single pack a while back. I think some dev is just super proud of his this card and got them to jack up the drop rate. Considering it's frequency, some better art might be nice. Jazz that shit up with some flame decals or something.

That's not how F2P games work, money side. People keep thinking it's about getting everyone to stay long enough to pay up. Fact is, most will never do and never was expected to. Over 50% of players, even if they stay for years, will never pay. Of those that do, most won't put more than $20 into it: just enough to 'jump start' an account (well $40 here probably).
What they need, and want, are whales: the few players who dump thousands into a game without more than a shrug. The folks who put $800 into an MMOs gacha system without getting the one equipment piece they are after and not only keep playing but will try again soon because OMG the next outfit is coming up and I want to focus on that soon. They are the folks who open 1000 packs on youtube even though you don't need even close to that to get or craft every GvG card.
the disenchant system is to create the traditional grind-based system that, to be honest, every F2P player should've gotten used to years ago. F2P players measure their progress in months. That's the way the game works. You pay in cash or you pay in time.
Also note that while there's a higher % of legendaries, there's a LOWER % of competitive legendaries. It's pretty much just "get Dr. Boom and MAYBE your class legendary..that's it." Unless you're a collectionist (and if you are, why the #()$# are you F2Ping!?) then all that matters if you have a small collectioin is that the cards you need i GvG are probably common/rare mech aggro/midrange cards. Otherwise, you just do what you normally have been doing, unless they are really that eager for blingtron.

I tossed all my Cobra Shots into a pool and swam in them for a while before disenchanting.

hmm..
But I think that we can all agree that this for us players... sucks... But hey, money is money, right?
I also noticed the same thing. I bought hundreds of packs on the first day of GvG and Cobra Shot caught my attention. After seeing this thread, looks like after a month it's still popping more than it should. This can't be balanced, it HAS to be on purpose!
Well just to play the other side of things I've opened about 25 packs so far and only ever got 1. Of course my luck has been complete crap and I've only snagged 2 epics and 0 legendaries (including the shaman everyone drops a creature.... yay!)

Pickles are just pickled cucumbers.
I'll admit the name got me into this thread. Good stuff.
I have this issue with Snowchugger. Have to have drawn a hundred of em.
I thought it would either be some crazy spellpower hunter combo or porn. I kinda hoped for the porn.
After I wrote the thread name I started thinking of a deck with cobra shots that is somehow good but I couldn't think of a way to do that

Taunt hunter with Malygos finisher.
I've gotten a lot of cobra shots and golden ones. But same for any other commons and rares in gvg because the card count is quite low.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Goblin Sapper haunting me. Have 7 of them in 25 packs.
I bring life and pffffffffffffff!

I keep getting cobra shots and gnomergan infartry in all of my packs. Two piece of crap cards I hate the most. I even got golden ones.
I'm honestly getting the same few commons every single pack and it is really starting to piss me off.
