What is the point of playing Jade Druid, Pirate Warrior ou Quest Rogue ? I dont get it... Zero fun. It's always the same mechanic, always the same sh**. When winning is more important than having fun and you're not a pro player, there is a problem. What is the point of winning turn five ? We all know the best games are the one where you struggle. When you crush somebody with a op deck, there is no pleasure... because it was easy. There's no "glory" to succeed that way.
For my part, i concede turn one against quest rogue because i dont give a damn AND i dont play ranked. That's the other confusing thing... why play op deck when winning is not that important ? Non ladder should be the occasion to test fun decks and not play the same boring deck...
Well, I guess I'm salty but i have to admit i'm gonna stop playing this game because of the way most players are. Between stupid decks and bad manners, i had enough. It's not a fun environnement at all. It's just a game and some people dont get it.
Agree 100%. Silence Priest is another. I lost on turn 5 today to inner fire. Blizzard continues to allow cards that swing the game early so much that if you have a bad mulligan you lose. Very fun to lose to a 2 drop scavenging hyena, a bunch of spells to the face while your board gets ignored and frozen, and Ragnaros hero power flipping a coin every turn.
Why mages have everything? It's just not fair. They have good stat minions, a lot of direct damage and 2 extra turns. Why not to give all classes fair stat minions? I think we are losing "minions-trading" part of HS. I can make anti-mage or anti-everything deck, but 30 cards in a deck is not enough to play against everything. Meta is ok, but match making is like "Rock Paper Scissors".
I hate ice block so much! its just broken af. How the hell am i supposed to play against a deck that wins t because they have a 3 mana 'ignore the opponent and gather burn" card! As well as their primordial glyph that just gets them amazing spells every time! no way to play around anything a mage has. I wont even start with their cabalist tomes and babbling books and other broken RNG effects.
Stuck on rank 1 and 2 for about a week now. And I've been playing HEAVILY.
Try taking a break after any 3 loss streak if you are grinding. Tilt is such a rela thing in this game it may help by clearing your head.
Yeah, thanks man. Appreciate it. I was so set to hit legend with a burn mage or N'zoth Warrior. The thing about those decks is that even when you are unfavored to win (which is usually the case), you'll need to grind the games out long.
Ultimately I switched to secret mage to improve my matchups and to cut the match durations. Took me about 50 games to get the hang of it, but it worked wonders.
Do you have a decklist? I tried a secret mage netdeck and ultimately started playing my own versions, but I could never take it far
When all your ramp cards are always the last 2 cards you draw. GGs.
Edit: When you can't draw swipe for 8 games, feels extra bad man.
Another day, going to stop playing. Draws are even worse than yesterday. Pretty much throwing away matches, game after game. It's really the only card I've needed in the last 5 games to stay alive. But nah, of course not. Why would nourish draw it, why would I be able to top deck it, why would wrath draw it? I might as well just concede turn 1. With coin of course.
I'm literally on my knees praying for this card game after game. RNGesus never listens to me though.
Yeah, it's not really a one-deck-fits-em-all type of deck. I based mine off Puksin's list and swapped a few cards. You'll have to tinker around and see what works best for you. I might do a writeup on it sometime.
Thanks, I'll give this list a shot. I'm glad you don't have Sorcerer's Apprentice.. a lot of lists include it and I have no idea why
Why is it every hunter is capable of mulling and draw perfectly on curve, every time? Is there some sort of formula to make this happen?
I can't mulligen a 1 or 2 drop to save my life.
Always alleycat into crackling Razormaw, because today's hearthstone is very skill based
And when did Hearthstone rely on skill? Today we have: alleycats into crackling razormaws and 2x shadowsteps and prep in opening hand. Before that we had SMB, into coin N'Zoth First Mate with Patches or in case of Shaman South Sea Deckhand into Flametounge totem. Before that we had secret hunter which always had secretkeeper into coin+cloaked huntess and that secretkeeper becomes 99/99. We always had annoying Miracle Rogue with coin + 2x Counterfit coin into VanCleef.
Hey I have an idea lets play wild, so many possible decks there it must be more fun! rank 5 and (not joking, I wish) about 85% of my opponents played pirate warrior, copy paste standart format pirate warior. Some added ship cannon and call it creative...
F##K THIS GAME, F##K THAT BEARDED C##KSUCKER BEN BRODE WHO MADE THIS PATHETIC RNG IN THIS GAME ! F#################K !
Holy shit this happened to me this morning, and I about lost my goddam mind. I had the game won then evolved into Doomsayer. My opponent mocked me and I evolved again ... into Doomsayer. @()#*$!#)(%#%*&!#_8#(8!#8#%&_%!#*%%!#*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Playing my Midrange Pally vs. Mage. He's playing secret/facespells. On turn 9he plays Alex to get me to 15. I hit with Vinecleaver, play Sunkeepeker, kill Alex, hit face. Next turn he plays Pyro to knock me down to five. I pop Ice Block off him and play Lay on Hands to get up to 13. He hits me with Fireball + Frost Bolt + Flame Geyser and puts up another Ice Block, taking me down to 2. I topdeck Ragnaros, Lightlord, pop his Ice Block, and heal back to 10.
He quit and gave me a piece of his mind on his way out the door. I don't blame him. I had it coming. That said, I only had like 8 cards left when I topped Rag, and those 8 cards included Rag, Forbidden Healing, and Ivory Knight. There was almost a 50/50 chance I was going to draw into some healing. But he didn't know that. Poor guy.
I dunno man. A good midrange deck will counter almost any of that. My mid paladin (silver hand, not murloc) has a winning record against all of those decks except priest. And I'm not that good. Of course, that also implies my opponents aren't that good...
What the fuck has happened in the low ranks??? Every fucking deck I try gets steamrolled after like 1 win. I've sunk from 17 down to 20. Nothing has worked. Mid-range Paladin - nope. Aggro Hunger - nope. Aggro Druid - nope. Silence Priest - nope. What a shitty game. Why don't they at least put in a floor in all the lower ranks below 15 so you can make progress out of that cesspool of random shit every game.
Salt: Renolock vs Quest Mage in Wild. He completes the quest, gets me within lethal. Burns face, plays Time Warp. Uses Roaring Torch #1 to kill off a minion and then Emotes (the way assholes do, for BM, when they definitely have lethal). Uses Roaring Torch #2 to kill my other minion, Emotes "Oops," and pings my face, leaving me at 2 health. I assume at this point he was going for BM but fucked up. I've drawn 20 cards, no Reno yet.
Sugar: I have drawn Jaraxxus. And since he has 2 cards in hand and it seems like this idiot fucked up his BM and has no more burn, he concedes when I drop it.
