Officially joining the chorus of "fuck rogues". I was wary as soon as I saw that even Team 5 saw the Quest as a way to encourage low cost charge minions and one turn kill combos... Two things they've expressly said in the past they hate and acknowledge other people don't enjoy. I totally get that it takes more skill to trigger the Quest Reward by turn 5 than the usual aggro decks, but it's still incredibly easy to simply bounce the same 1 cost minion around by turn 4, and then boom, turn 5 you press the "I win game now" button. It feels like the worst parts of every terrible deck we've had to deal with for the last year or so, in one go. Low cost, high attack minions, with charge, and the potential to end the game within 6 or 7 turns pretty consistently, while managing to negate the benefits that taunt and control based decks are meant to have over them.
All I cue into in standard is taunt warrior with their mindless quest. Feels pretty crappy trying to dig through a non-stop wall of taunt only to get faced by Rag hero power.
I just opened 27 un'goro packs. Not even a single legendary. Don't know if blizzard has lowered the rates or it's just bad luck, but it rly doesn't matter. The game is imposible for me right now, i'll be playing arena the next two month i guess and then, they will come with another expansion. Fuck u, blizzard, bring back our adventures.
I expected variety, fun, new match-ups and possibilities.
What I got was Rogue's with 5/5 floods around turn 4/5, pirate warrior still existing, jade druids still going on. So far not much creativity to be found in my matchups. Yuck.
Fulfilled the jungle giants quest. Drew a bunch of cards, and drop my tyrantus. I felt so good. Then the hunter I was fighting clears the board (except tyrants) and plays a secret. It was freezing trap. My tyrantus returned to my hand costing 12. I lost the game. Feels bad man.

You can lose quite easily if you don't get the right draws but I do agree that it combines the worst parts of all the worst decks we've seen. Rogue is my favourite class and I'm a massive Burning Crusades WoW fanboy so I even love Maeiv, but even after playing the deck myself I find myself disliking it because you either win by turn 5 (like you said) or I end up mad because I didn't draw the right card.
Absolutely. I completely agree that it's more draw/mulligan dependent, and has a slightly higher skill barrier than the last few waves of aggro curvestone, but it still frustrates me to no end to see one of my favourite "tricksy" classes basically get reduced to "prove you can use the most basic of rogue skills and then have a free infinite buff to your minions... you guys like minions right?".
The funny thing is that I can actually see how they thought Sherazin, Corpse Flower was going to be a sweet legendary now, it's just that the deck it fits into is the typical "Team 5 assumes people won't abuse charge" mindset.
I would murder inferior race that plays pirate warrior even after Un'Goro. Not even joking, would kill them all

Just putzing around in ranked today, trying new decks and combos and whatnot. At least 60% if not 80% of my opponents are quest rogues and I'm dead by turn 6 or 7.
Doing everything I can to slow them down (dirty rats, early board clears, etc.), but no luck. They don't need to be a genius to keep their preferred minion in their hand during your turn...
quest rogue is the new cancer, and instead of trying all my new cards and quests i had to spend the whole day trying to find a quest rogue counter...
wtf blizzard, this is so ridiculous... they usually finish the quest by turn 4 or 5 and then you got maximum 2 turns to kill them before you're dead...
only sucessful counter so far is pirate warrior... and if i have to play this cancer shit i might as well quit... purify priest sometimes works to some extent, so i'm probably gonna try to refine this deck... but srsly how did this quest get through internal testing??!
the problem with this shit is there is literally NO counterplay at all. you can never in any possible way stop them from completing the quest, if they dont play like a complete retard...
and taunts won't save you either because 5/5 charges just kill them and most of the time dont even die, bc most taunts are 4 attack or below... i'm starting to believe this is even worse than the pirate warrior cancer

Takes all the fun out of the game.
Seems like Quest rogues are popping up a bit of everywhere, and they're hard to counter.
I'd also like to note that it's not easy playing Discard-lock without Clutchmother Zavazz, Malchezaar's imp and silverware golem.
The turn time needs to be shortened, seriously speed the fuck up.
