I want to rant. Jaxx is bullshit vs Priest. You play that card and are pretty much gifted a free win, there I said it. Priest can not possibly deal with Jaxx pumping out 6/6's every turn. Any other class has ways of dealing with it, but Priest they are just shitted on without any real chance to even win. There is no other situation in the game where I feel like Priest is helpless to do anything and should just auto-concede as soon as that card is played. I haven't felt this way since Priest vs pre-nerf Miracle Rogue.
This is something that I've always known, but today I got slapped in the face so hard by this fact after completely outplaying my opponent, exhausting him of cards and clearing all this board threats. Then he topdecks Jaxx and proceeds to just destroy me by pumping out 6/6's indefinitely while healing and taunting. I survived that onslaught until he his weapon broke but there was just no way I could keep removing those 6/6's every single turn. I don't care how you look at it, that Warlock player didn't do anything to win the game Jaxx just won it for him and all he has to do is press hero power, sit back and enjoy the rewards. It's just disgusting to sit there so far ahead and know there's nothing you can possibly do to win because of an imbalance vs the class your playing. Priest should have a card that deals with Handlock and no that shitty Lightbomb is hardly the answer. Handlock vs Priest is just not fair.
So completely sick and tired of being so horribly incompetent. I can't do it. Not good enough. It doesn't matter what you do, you never ever get better. You are born good at Hearthstone or you're not. I cannot possibly be any more inept and I'm totally fed up with it. Every loss must be met with consequences, maybe that will help me finally not be so freaking horrible at this game. Can't do it.
From what I hear the exp you gain is directly linked to how many cards you play during the match (probably to help balance that fast decks can do games twice as fast as slower decks) so my guess is he's either trying to up his exp gain or just being a jerk about it. Hopefully it's the former and not the latter... but who knows.
I have just wasted another 20 minutes of my life facing a Priest, playing a deck identical to 1000000 others, with a slowness that deserves agony, just to lose 1 star in my rank. I swear I'll instaquit each time I meet a priest in non ranked play from now on.
I don't understand people who say they "wasted" 20 minutes facing a Priest. Don't you guys like playing Hearthstone?

You can try to have more mid-rangy stuff to go up against a priest, other than that priests are generally really hard to beat. Their control tactic is just too overwhelming alot of times. It's as if they have a response to literally everything you do, I'd know because I have faced alot of priests in the past and I play a control priest myself.
I love priest but I don't know why you're hating them for winning vs you. As it is the class has a greater loss rate than win rate on hearthstats global lists. On ladder, it's probably the weakest class right now and rogue, hunter, and mage are all quite strong against it.The paladin matchup is draw dependent.
I have the most ranked wins on Priest in ladder, only 50 to go before I get gold priest, but I can't even ladder the class because I can't get above 50% winrate with any deck. I think it needs a buff.

A 20 minute match? How egregious. Your petulant insta-quit plan will likely make your opponents smile.
Sure Priest can be annoying and feel unfair to play against but what class doesn't? For me variety is the spice of life and I'm happiest playing all 9 classes and using every unfair tactic in the game to win. Weather your picking off hunter or zoo's minions and chipping away at face or having the stars align and scrapping through a control matchup winning with Priest is incredibly satisfying. So don't knock it till you tried it. But be warned, there will be plenty of games you don't find your answers and you just die more slowly then you would when the same thing happens as another class.
Whoever invented mill deathlord mage should burn in helll raped by everyone there
Amen to that. I know that feel bro
Yep, I ran into that for the first time yesterday and all I could do was laugh as I drew lava staring at a seemingly endless supply of deathlords. The irony is that, that deck would get completely destroyed by just about any cheesy aggro deck and only punishes people who tried not to use chessy aggro decks : /
Well, it's nowhere near as bad as some of the stuff posted here, but it's still pretty annoying.
I'm trying to play a warlock deck that's NOT Handlock or Zoo, more of a tempo-ish control deck and I'd like to think it's not bad (Currently rank 18, but that's more because I only play ~3-5 games per day and I lose at least 1-2, if I put in a more serious effort I could probably get relatively high). Today played three games so far, two mages and a warlock. The mages were fun and ultimately victorious (I'd imagine the mage who played 2 unstable portals would post here, having gotten Frostwolf Grunt and Nat Pagle and then, when I had lethal I decided to have some fun and attacked his Sneed's to see what he would have gotten from it. Pagle again. It's at that point I realized that had he gotten Tirion I would have been in trouble).
Then we get to the warlock. I'm frustrated because you can try to construct your own deck to try and not be a net-decker, try to achieve success via your own ability. How did it end? Dead on turn 5 because of Murloc rush deck. Turn 1 flame imp -> Turn 2 Pint-Sized summoner -> Turn 3 Grimscale Oracle + 2 Murloc Tidecallers. My deck doesn't run Hellfires, only a Dread Infernal. After he dropped a second pint-sized summoner and flooded the board with Murlocs...yeah, concede, frustrated.
fuck this shit i play all day for a whole week just to open a fucking rare every day.so im playing and wasting 5 hours of my life to get 40 dust.oh sorry today was 2 rares so 60 dust.fuck this.ranked isnt that appealing cause ill get the damn card back either way so whats the difference to be 20 lvl or legend really?this game is getting so fucking boring and its like blizzard says "oh you got bored? pay real money then".blizzard should do something about this cause they will lose the majority of f2p players.new modes, more gold, better good rarity pulls from packs or i will stop to play this game.cause its a fucking different thing to decide for myself that i want to give money and its a different thing the game itself litterally blackmails me to give money.and the card pulling isnt random at all.you opened a legendary?enjoy your rest of the week or more opening just rares.this is not random this is fixed
I know this game is not that newbie friendly and stuffs. I have some decent collection but when it comes to casual it really pisses me off to see all this players that netdeck and plays on casuals. I mean like, what the heck? its called casual u moron. Its where people are suppose to taste the "fun" part of the game, trying out their gimmick decks and stuffs. And then some mech mage or control warrior who have netdecked like no problem comes and rekt ur day. There was a time when casuals are filled with fun and i can see different types of deck and stuffs i wouldnt even thought of, but now its just filled with moron and tryhards who don't have the balls to play in ranked after they netdeck and instead sort to prey on those who only want to try out their deck/completing their quests and what not.
#rantfnsh.
NOTE: so frustrated after i tried to complete my paladin quest with my not quite helpful paladin collection and facing all these CW,MM 5 games in a row. If your one of them who netdecked and played on casuals, grow a pair and play on ranked instead.
I also tend to try creative decks on casual, but you have to realize that there are people that eg never play mage and get a 5 wins mage quest, so they just netdeck a mm deck and hop on casual for 5 wins in 30', since they can just concede if the game drags without being afraid of their ranking being lowered.

Not devoted enough to spend money/lots of time , but still like being somewhat competitive
Peaked at rank 3 couple seasons ago, usually around ranks 10-5 at the end of seasons (unless it's been a busy month irl)
This is the most honest post I have ever read, my hats off to you good sir for being so freaking honest about fucking up and not blaming rng. Now with that said, I am no pro but as a rank1-2 player I did learn a few things about bad streaks. People will say to take a break, go have a bite to eat or a drink of w/e you fancy, get a little sleep in there, and all that is good advice but...
The best advice I ( or anyone ) can give you is " DO NOT SWITCH DECKS " by switching decks you will just make the situation much, much worse. You are at rank 20, take a deck that you are comfortable with ( even if its control ) and grind out those wins, even if you use control and each game takes 20 minutes! one deck from rank 20-1 will stop your bad streak friend.
I use to get frustrated by getting bad card draws/mulligans, by making bad/misplays then I would switch decks and make things worse for myself. I realized how bad it is to switch decks during a bad streak and stopped doing it. I went from a skill cap of rank 12 to rank 1-2 in the last few seasons.
fucking hate shamans. RNG for the win right? I just retook board control except for 1 azure drake at 1 hp, reincarnated a silenced kelthuzad, which brought the one that died back by the second one (so I had 2 kelthuzads + a spell totem) and am sitting at 8 life. Then I get crackled for 8 damage and die. gg whats the point of filling the board if you are just gonna get killed with rng spells.

It would be an improvement. I agree that it's far too swingy for a common draft card.

Ahh yes, a Priest player getting what he deserves. Now I feel much better. =P sorry.
$2700+ spend on the "Free" Hearthstone game... How do I explain this to the wife?
I don't understand people who say they "wasted" 20 minutes facing a Priest. Don't you guys like playing Hearthstone?
Have you tried winning?
