if you only see ranked decks in casual then why not play ranked?
Because I'm rank 2 and pushing for legend, there's no way I'm going to play my theorycrafted and unoptimized Quest Priest with Hemet and Archbishop in ladder right now.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I wish i could make a thread about this, but people will probably say im just being over dramatic or salty and im just bad. but I am 100% sure that we are at the point where this is the most Stale Meta ive ever seen. So basically Jade Druid, Tempo Rogue and Highlander priest ARE the meta and its so boring because you basically cant play anything outside of those 3 decks and not get punished. You play control, you basically get killed by Jade Druid or Priest just bursts you down or Tempo rogue just get snowing you. if you play anything that isnt rogue you basically get destroyed by priest AOE's or once again you just get out tempoed. This is probably the worst Meta ive ever seen other than undertaker hunter and trust me guys, ive been through the meta of Face hunter, Grim patron , combo Druid and other Toxic Decks. I watch alot of Hearthstone Videos also of highlights and basically every single video is these 3 decks. its not a good thing When there only 3 decks that are above everything else and the only way to beat them is if they have a bad draw.
You're not being over dramatic. However, how many decks do you expect any given meta to allow to be at the top at one time? Having 3 different decks at top tier is actually a lot considering most metas have not had large handfuls of top performing (ie 'Tier 1' or 'Tier S' only).
the best meta is where you dont get a set of decks that bully out the rest of the meta. The best meta ive seen is When Old gods came out, there was alot of decks that were played
This is not realistic though. As long as any type of deck does better than the other decks (this could even just amount to a slight performance gap between the slightly better deck & the slightly worse one) then people will over play that deck, resulting in the push-out of all other decks that you mentioned. All reasons for playing for fun aside, there will always be people who define their fun as how often they win.
Many decks were played, but many of those decks did not perform optimally. Many times people make reference to these diverse metas, but the meta snapshot did not reflect a diverse meta when you looked at the most played and strongest decks.
This game requires ZERO skill. Its pure draw luck and matchup luck. Fact. Legend payers are just using broken decks and grind away. Fact. Sorry to break that to everyone.
Eh, I wouldn't 100% agree. Play a combo deck that isn't freeze mage and see if you play the game making no plans in regards to future plays you need to make in order to win.
For example, in Aviana K'Thun decks (one of my latest favorite decks to play) you need to sit on 7 cards before you can win, some match-ups will let you use 1-2 pieces and still win, but many long control match-ups require all 7. With that deck you don't have quit the same stall or removal as a mage, yet you still have to often go to fatigue (well for your deck) before you can pull off a win.
Don't even get started on match-ups where you have to decide if the control player might be running a Dirty Rat that could screw you over. Do I use one of combo pieces if I happened to get pressured too much, knowing that that increases my odds of having a vital part of the combo ratted? Do I keep some of my non combo piece minions in my hand to reduce the chance of a rat, at the expense at not developing a board presence? Can I afford not developing any board? Do I use any of my single target cheap removal inefficiently in order to make sure that I don't have hand size management issues when I draw into UI?
Ummmm... whatever. The bottom line is that you either draw what you need when you need it or you dont. Period. Fuck weird ass control decks or whatever you're talking about. Dont care. Just sick of this fucking game being a fucking casino 100% of the time. The LIES that its skill based is so fucking stupid that anyone buying that shit is crazy. I got beach-front property for you in Kansas too. Idiots.
Yet you keep posting on fan sites of a game you hate so much. Do you guys ever get tired of being cheerleaders for things you hate so much?
Also, for the fact that you don't even know what deck I'm talking about shows just how long you've been playing this game (i.e. not very long). When you quit, if you haven't already, nobody will miss you <3
Oh relax. Sheep. Who cares what deck you are talking about. Its a fucking casino. Doesnt matter.Duh?

Oh snap, you hit me right in the feels there </3
In the end posters like you still trigger yourselves and waste your time beating the flames of a game you hate, but can't stay away from in some form. You hate the game and thus want to use cliche catch-phrases such as "This game is all rng, it has no skill at all!" While, it is quite apparent that the game has plenty more rng than physical card games it is naive to say there is no skill-based element at all.
Arena can be so frustrating sometimes. I'm doing outplaying the shit out of my opponent and the game gets closed in the matter of seconds just because he topdecked Anduin. But it's fine since i like losing to that card. It really showcases the skill in my opponent.
Isn't it funny how everyone playing keleseth rogue in casual always has it on turn 2 and never draws patches in his opening hand? Haha :) What a good game that's completely "random".
Go in to play Wild casual with a Mill Druid deck to test some tweaks.
First 3 games: Aggro Mage, Aggro Paladin, Aggro Hunter.
Switch to Reno Priest: Priest, Priest, Priest. Don't know which type of Priest because I conceded on the spot.
Switch back to Mill Druid: Aggro Shaman
The matchups are random EleGiggle
Too bad they locked the thread where we could discuss why that happens. And no word about how or when we can discuss it.
Oh, to make it even funner, I faced the same Aggro Shaman after the 7th game LUL. I truly dont know how this algorithm works but it sure doesn't always trigger the random ROFL

Great art can never be created without great suffering.
The game gets a lot more tolerable for me after I've reached my monthly goal (rank 5 => golden epic). Now I log in, complete my daily quest and don't bother much about losing.
But that just means I'm going to be a salty fuck in November.
Sure do love it when I put a windfury minion into my deck to ensure Corpsetaker has windfury... and then draw the crummy windfury minion in my opening hand in 4/5 games.

bonemare has completely ruined the game
instead of designing decks around your own idea you have to design decks around turn 7 bonemare
