I'm so fucking tired of every game being pirate and quest rogue. Every fucking game rogue has their quest completed by turn 5.
The only thing this fucking patch did was replace aggro shaman with quest rogue. Which is arguably much worse, because nothing counters rogue once the quest is completed.
Once I touted my Golden Rogue (earned back in the Oil days) with pride, not so much these days.
Same with my Golden Warrior (non-pirate).
I had hopes for this expansion, now seriously considering giving my near-complete collection of vaguely playable Wild & Standard cards away to someone that wants to invest their time in this perpetually unbalanced shyte.
I suspect my spare time is better spent elsewhere.
I wonder if the designers at Blizzard have some brains. Each expansion they make the meta game more favorable for aggressive decks. Can´t believe Pirate Warrior will still be around. At the higher ranks its either Warrior or Rogue you face. This is crap.
Edit: Also, you can´t really tech against aggressive decks, because 1) it will make your deck weaker against other matchups and 2) you still depend on drawing your techs and will lose games if you don´t draw them and even if you do draw them
Blatant cash grab by Blizzard - release an expansion with some clearly broken decks - sell as many packs as they can while the idiots ride the broken cancer decks up the ladder "having fun" basically by exploiting a cheat. Not realising their rank is meaningless. Lol probably as was last season when they played pirate or Renolock or Jade Shaman. I just imagine the multiple legends out there: first time legend Huntertaker. Next legend Secret Paladin. Next rank 1 Aggro Shaman. Then Jade Shaman or Pirate Warrior. Meaningless, meaningless, meaningles...
Meanwhile why can't people who actually want a balanced/fair matchup get casual or wild modes without broken standard decks. AND seriously why the FUCK can we not have an autosquelch to silence the dumb fucks playing the cancer metadecks? I mean I know you can squelch every match at the start but it's easy to forget and get tilted when the bullshit emotes start. Autosquelch would be easy to code and wouldn't affect the emote spammers - not putting it in shows CONTEMPT of the player base.
Hey Brode - here's my contempt - you suck at your job you've ruined Hearthstone and I will take EVERY opportunity to remind people that BEN BRODE NEEDS FIRING - and HEARTHSTONE IS A CON BASED AROUND REPEATED CREATION OF BROKEN DECKS TO SELL CARDS - a game should be essentially fair to all players - Hearthstone could be but it is not -- DONT BE FOOLED - NEVER GIVE BLIZZARD REAL MONEY FOR THIS SHIT.
Don't you just love that you cannot catch up in arena vs hunter because of 2 damage to the face every turn? No matter how many cards you have , you just won't have enough time vs a hero power hunter. Great !
Blizzard, remove fucking Swashburglar if you want your game stop being a joke. Not like quest rogue is not cancer on its own, but they also get free wins in games they should lose 100% just because of retarded rng from Swashburglar
I just keep thinking of the card reveal Brode did with Frodan, when Frodan shadow-stepped the SI:7 Agent and played it twice more by turn 4 or something, thus completing the quest, and Ben just kinda makes this surprised little "...oh, ok" noise. I really like Brode, but that moment has stuck with me for this first wave of cancer, as it illustrates exactly how little credit Team 5 give their community.
I never thought, that I will come here to make a post, but since it was stuck in my head, I need to blow off some steam:
My favourite deck so far was renolock - I know some people hate that card (and probably the deck too), but if I could, I would replace him with a far more fair healing card like Jinyu Waterspeaker. The reason, I liked this deck, is because: 1) it was 100% control (I didn't include the combo); 2) it was at the same time very flexible; 3) fun, because I had to make decisions; 4) I can't say, that my deck was oppressive to others - every one could counter it and it countered many decks.
However the last expansion wasn't pleasant for everyone. People ran the same decks over and over and there was little variety + it was terrible, how the game became rock-paper-scissors. People wanted a change, they wanted to throw these decks into the wild format. And I also wanted that, even if I had to "say goodbye" to a deck, that reflected my play style. Honestly - I was really looking forward to the experience, that i witnessed with the first rotation. So we can all have a fresh format, which we can enjoy.
And I really liked (and still like) the cards from the Un'goro expansion. Many of them are well balanced - the taunts, the light removals like Grievous Bite, legendaries like Hemet, that I thought will bring innovative and creative decks and even the pack fillers didn't seem like pack fillers. I also welcomed the quest mechanic as a new keyword, so that would make 9 new types of decks. But...
the thing that annoyed me the most is yet again how tempo decks always overwhelm the meta. I'm looking at the quest rogue. While I acknowledge the fact, that it depends on draws, I still think, that it's way too strong in comparison to other quests. Look at the warlock quest for a second - while I'm not saying, that it's incompletable, by the time, when you get the reward, you wouldn't have achieved much. But what bothers me the most, is how the quest rogue doesn't allow for other slow decks to develop. You may argue and mention taunt warr and plantlock - yeah, fill your deck with taunts and play the prolong game, when you think, that you exhausted them. But those decks won't do any good against mid-rangy decks or with decks with a real strategy. Tech cards like Dirty Rat are also great, but filling your deck with these: 1) won't win you the game every time in this MU, 2) may be a problem, if you face other decks, that don't rely on combos. And another thing - the tech cards are really great, I love them, BUT the problem with them is that they are situational. The decks with a real strategy works very well in many situations, while those "answers" only works in specific ones.
But the worst part is when people say "If you want to beat that deck, you have to adapt yours or simply play better decks, that counter the quest one. Like pirate and zoo". Yes, because that's what we wanted a whole expansion. We lacked on fast decks and the game became boring w/o them. That's the thing I hate the most - If there's a strong deck, it has to beaten by an aggro one - in this case by another broken and non interactive deck (pirate). Wasn't that the issue we wanted to prevent in this expansion? Weren't we fed up with decks constantly popping up? And even after the first hours, when I logged in, the game was flooded with that deck. IN THE FIRST FEW HOURS. Do you think, that that's healthy? Wasn't that the case with PW with the gadgetzan release?
I'm not defending only control decks, but also others, that have a game plan after t10. I don't plan to go to fatigue every time with a slow deck. I don't want to exhaust my opponent out of resources and then jump into the game to defeat them. I just want to play against others in a match, that lasts couple of turns, I want to make decisions - not just "Oh, i hope I draw my AoE/heal now". And like one said - if you do well against a fast deck, your opponent will concede, w/o you playing the rest of your deck - you just made a comeback, you are ready to play and they suddenly end the game. All so unsatisfying.
Quest warriors everywhere, this shit is cancerous. The hero power part of that quest is OP as is, adding a 4/2 weapon is madness. And playing Brawl makes it even harder to counter.
The rouge quest is pure cancer. only one card in the entire game can interact with it and if you whiff you might as well concede. its funny how many people thought this card would be impossible to pull only to proven so wrong. thanks for the fun and interactive expansion blizzard

I'm sorry, I know it's early in the expansion, but I am sick of Quest Rogue already. Every Rogue I face completes it by turn 4/5. It's ridiculous.

What I hate in Hearthstone the most - are retarded people in Arena, who play like shit, BM, BUT STILL WIN, because have crazy cards and RNG.
New mission for everyone:
Rope every quest rogue, Make it frustrating for them as it is for us.
Ahhh Sunday morning, a new expansion just came out so what does the ordinary hs player think? Yes you are right, lets play Pirate Warrior!
Seriously what is going on with these people? I recommend you to tech in those crabs cause you gonna need them from rank 10 onwards.

I love this new game I'm playing. It's called play against quest rogue! Build a deck. Then try to beat quest rogue!!!
i want a 7th emote option with the word ''disgusting ''
