Paladin, Mage & Priest used to be quite unfavored classes.
I don't there there are really any classes of that nature anymore, class balance seems to be better than ever. Rogue seems to have fallen our of favor, but I think that's mostly just because since miracle was nerfed people need to figure out how to play it again.
i keep trying to make rogue happen. its so much fun. but i found its next to impossible to win against classes with life gain mechanics consistently. add in antique heal bot for other classes and its rough. rogue ends up taking a lot of face damage removing minions and u do half the work for your opponent. passive decks beat rogue so easily. sigh. priest especially is a nightmare. however i was stomping the shit out of zoo with most of the variants of the rogue deck i was running. perd blades, backstabs, deadlys, flurrys, etc. really easy to remove all their shit, and tapping against a rogue aint gonna work to well. was doing OKAY in general against aggro decks.
so, to the OP: i think rogue isnt good. obviously im not the spokesman for hearthstone but its my educated opinion.
Probably rogue. But I'm probably saying that because its the least class I've played against. It also probably stems from the fact that their main card engine got nerfed, removing one archetype from play. But I feel that it is in no way weak. I've played midrange-ish tempo-ish rogue and it's still pretty good. The sudden burst from tinkers oil is something opponents don't expect, so it was pretty awesome.
All classes are viable now, on the right circumstances. In this meta right now rogue is the weakest. By far because Hunter/Zoo and Handlock/CW are just not very good match ups.
But it's the same with priest, just not as extreme. Priest just isn't as good as everyone thought it would be because the meta fucks them over.
The only rogue deck that might be viable now is the mech tempo one, but that's just me, so yeah, rogues are still the weakest, along with the paladins, but they've got a huge buff with the Shielded Minibot, Muster for Battle, Quartermaster, Coghammer and to an extent Seal of Light
I think Shaman is also pretty underpowered right now, or at least no one has figured out a good build yet. 3rd-weakest is probably Priest, but it's nowhere near as bad as Rogue or Shaman.
As a Shaman player there are many up hill battles (most match ups are neutral or bad) and while priest may seam unbeatable I feel sad when i see a rogue because that's one of the only times I know i have the upper hand (warrior being the other easy match up). Rogue is definitely in a bad place atm but it will probably be so for a while until new cards come out. Idk what they can do for shaman but it's also in a bad place comparatively too.
One of the biggest factors for telling both of these classes aren't fairing well is that shamans got ancestors call (a fun bad card) and murloc tribal. Just when i thought stiltfin was a bad card, rogues got one-eyed cheat (probably the worst gvg class card) and pirate tribal. Yea gallywix, sharp sword oil and imo Ogre ninja are great cards but not enough to salvage the sea of crap rogue got (cogmasters hammer is awful too). Card nerfs hurt rogue a lot (maybe as punishment for being too good last year).
Perhaps months after handlock and zoo aren't good they'll be nerfed into the ground based on old data too.
Shaman is weak??? i think a good shaman deck easily beats any control or midrange deck (handlock without any problem, cw, priest, paladin, druid also fairly well), good against zoo, but is struggler against face hunter and rogue, mage and mirror is 50/50
I whole heartedly disagree on shaman being strong against handlock, you typically only have 4 answers to his 7+ problems (2 Twilight, 4 giants, and Dr. Boom) and his plethora of board wipes that limit the hero ability, really this matchup more of a 50/50 than anybody wants to admit.
Priest wrecks shaman, are you joking with that? Seriously priest destroys almost every shaman deck, you need a strong burst finish to beat a priest as shaman. This is probably a 30/70 matchup for shaman.
CW still might be slightly favored for the shaman, but compared to pre-GvG this one got a lot closer, probably a 60/40 now compared to the 70/30 it was.
I haven't played many paladins so i can't comment, the times I have played them, they missed draw, no consecrate, no muster.
Druid is always reliant on combo either they have it or the don't. Shaman has traditionally lacked life gain so the goal was/is for druid is to keep taunts clear and get you to 14, after that stall till combo. This matchup really depends on draw.
All cancer decks shaman can handle but needs to draw into early game minions, removal, and lightning storm. Get two of those three and you have a chance, miss, well game over, but that's true for all decks.
Dunno been playing shaman a bit since GvG and can't find an archetype that is remotely consistent, midrange is losing to control decks as none of the early minions are nearly as effective as they are in other classes, can't go aggressive as hero ability doesn't lend itself to that playstyle, and control just doesn't have the ways to cheat out big threats/survive to late game. Sorry shaman is in a bad place right now.
I think it makes a difference whether we're talking about the ladder or tournaments. On ladder, Shaman and Rogue seem to be the weakest. I'd say Druid and Priest are fairly weak right now as well, though they are significantly more viable than the other two. In tournaments though, there's a place for everything, since every deck has an advantage over at least one other deck. You also get an advantage for playing weird decks in tournaments.

Hearthstone is a math game. If you think it's overpowered, do the math, compare it to other similar cards, and then if it doesn't all add up, complain about it being overpowered.
I think Shaman is the weakest but also the most annoying. If it weren't for the totems I don't think anyone would win with them but then again if they didn't have the totem power who knows what their ability would be.
a lot of classes are weak simply because a lot of decks dont work out. theres no such thing as a warrior "enrage" deck for example, a lot of decks are just held together by generic staple cards, and arnt unique or fun feeling at all. hopefully with more sets this changes, but as it is, i would say a lot of classes are weak because your options are not plentiful.
If we are talking ladder then Rogue is definitely the answer to your question. The problem with Rogue is there is no way to build it right now that makes it work in more than half of its match-ups. You can build a Rogue deck to be favorable against any other specific deck, which is why it is still a somewhat viable tournament option, but good luck building a deck that can ladder consistently. Nobody has figured it out yet and to be honest I don't think there is some hidden undiscovered archetype that is going to work.

Thoughts?
I would tend to agree with that.
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429
Rogue is in pretty bad shape.
Rogue

Rogues, hands down. Tempo, aggro, combo, you name it: it seems nothing works consistently in rogue decks right now.

mfw his Yogg steals my win
I would argue rogue and shaman but for different reasons for each. Shaman doesn't have any good matchups, and rogue has too many bad matchups.
I think Shaman is also pretty underpowered right now, or at least no one has figured out a good build yet. 3rd-weakest is probably Priest, but it's nowhere near as bad as Rogue or Shaman.
hate to admit it, because it's my favorite class, but rogue is definitely the weakest at the moment.

Agreed with rogue, just can't compete on ladder like every other class.
Playing since beta, just decided to join HearthPwn.... better late than never
