I've had ppl add me to say "This was a close match and I could have won next turn" . Even that response isn't really negative, just a comment on the game really. Other than that whenever ppl add me it was usually postiive ( saying gg, complimenting a deck) and we later would play a few games and have a nice chat.
I've actually never encountered someone like that, which surprises me given the large amount of people that use the internet to act like children... But most of the times where I've had people add me after a match was after a very close game that could have gone either way and that was just to say good game or discuss the match.
Overall I've been pleasantly surprised with the decent manner of the Hearthstone community with the exception of dropping their entire hand when they have lethal on board just to waste time or the Threaten emote spamming.
I haven't had a bad experience from an add yet. If I play someone and it's a great game sometimes I add them. Only problem I've had is from a player who says he's 10 yrs old who will message me relentlessly until I answer. He doesn't understand that sometimes I'm not at the computer. He's chilled a little though.
I've done that to people, but not for one or two or three legendaries. It's when they pull out 6+ and that final rag snipe hits me instead of my 5 minions that I rage and call them a pay-to-win RNG master.
Or maybe they've played alot as the game's been out over a year and they just beat you fairly but you can't handle it so you come up with excuses?
Yeah that Rag RNG definetely establishes him as the better player.
The decision to play Ragnaros is a tactical one. The effect Rag produces, while influenced by RNG, is not solely a product of RNG. Your theory would assert that Poker is not a game of skill whereas the evidence is quite to the contrary.
I have had multiple people add me just to cuss me out or call me a fag and then delete me before I could respond. It doesn't keep me from accepting though because most of the people I have accepted have been really cool and just wanted to talk about Hearthstone in general.
Happens like a couple of times per month. I usually accept friend requests event though I suspect it will lead to a long line of curses from an opponent I just beat, I dont really mind, it is kind of fun to pour some extra salt into their wounds. Dont really get why some rage so hard, it is just a game.
Typically playing priest will attract ragers I have noticed, especially when you thoughtsteal those legendaries. Another group of common ragers are hunters, and for some reason they seem to think their deck is the hardest most skillfull to play.
AHAHAH I got 3 in a row yesterday with a super troll echo of medivh with leeroy, they were all mindf*** when I did the 3 leeroys + 2 fireballs to the face, but that's over the course of four turns, with a really shitty deck with the most inconsistency ever. They were so salty I couldn't believe it, one actually said : "wow so much skills, you go on google to copy decks to win" He was playing face hunter... And, let's be honest, my deck was so bad that no one would actually write it anywhere on any forum! I was in casual just to have some fun, but seems like those thyhards can't face defeat even in friendly unranked games...
I finally got one friendly folk who found it very original, we talked and he's still in my friend list, so I guess 1 out of 4 isn't that bad.
Happened to me once, was playing against Miracle Rogue back in the old days. Guy wins, adds me and starts bragging. Much to his surprise, I didn't insult him or whine, but I complimented him on his victory (he did play better, after all). Now we mostly deck test together and try to help each other out when we can.
I probably send out 1 or 2 friend requests/day after matches just to chat. I'd say less than 20% of people actually accept. They probably assume I'm going to rage, but I'm not sure why. It's not like I spam emotes or anything.

I've actually had this same issue. People absolutely crush me in one turn with some ingenious (or simply lucky) twist of fate and I send them a request to talk about how impressive a win that was. Only one out of maybe fifteen such requests get granted. Makes me sad. I've also never had anyone friend me to bitch at me, even after wins that I myself wasn't super proud of, and that's after a year of this game. I actually feel kinda left out. My name's in my profile, if anyone feels like messaging me to talk shit creatively.. I like a good chuckle.

Unless yours is set up differently, I think you need to post it in the username#numbers format for people to add you.

I love folks like you. Complain about RNG in a game that's got a fair bit of RNG. Go play Magic or something and stop harassing folks just because they got lucky (those scumbags).
Haha, I can just see you snickering and waiting for the incoming whines about mana screw RNG if they did go and play Magic.
Never had anyone say anything bad to me after adding them. I have beat some people really bad. I was on 1 health and then 30 for 5+ turns and I ended up winning. After I won I laughed and laughed and then turned off the game. A couple hours later he had sent me a friend request. I accepted, but he was offline so i removed him. I doubt he would have remembered what he wanted to say anyways.
First time added was a guy who called me a lucky c--t, then deleted immediately. Second time was someone just being friendly. Third time was someone who just wanted to be smug (though I was disconnected in the game). So, in that case I was just a little smug back and told him frost mages were blasé. To which of course he responded it wasn't really a frost mage.
I've added once, recently, after an all-weapon rogue deck with no minions beat my priest (form of control) deck and I thought it was cool and complimented the guy on a unique deck.
I always accept the request. Sticks and stones and all that. Don't want the immature cowardly ones to deny me the opportunity of talking to someone cool.

Before every game I pray to little baby RNGesus
