While it was a tight race between the two explorers Brann Bronzebeard and Reno Jackson, Reno Jackson came out on top in the end. Now it's time to move onto the expansion that introduced Set Rotation to Hearthstone: Whispers of the Old Gods!
I mean Yogg by a mile if we go back in time but currently nothing is played apart from TFB and that’s a tier 5 wild deck, I say that very generously.
It's crazy how much Wild has changed recently, cuz I remember not that long ago Even Shaman was one of the best decks in Wild and Thing from Below was a key part of that.

Yeah I see it occasionally. Think it just lacks a little bit of consistency and almost seems like it lacks the ability to come back from behind.
this is just going to turn into the "utility legendary hall of fame".
There's a definite possibility that will happen, however I do believe there are some sets where none of the 5 best cards are Legendaries.
This is correct thing is when its people voting almost always focuses on a Legendary even if the real beasts of the sets are something else entirely. I would argue that the best cards is very rarely Legendaries they are impactful and they can be strong but the staple cards that make decks work is rarely Legendaries.
And in other cases there is hype like Reno Jackson no way he was better than Brann Bronzebeard back in the day, Brann had tons of power packed into itself without the restriction of having to have a singleton deck. He could be used in any kind of deck and would be impactful and in that set we also had Tunnel Trogg which was a staple opener for Midrange/Aggro Shaman that at the time was abit like Paladin has been the last year really strong and so many good cards they always was a contender.

Disagree slightly. Trogg didn’t give rise to anything too sinister but archetypes were born from Reno and to this day he’s in the top 5 cards you put into some of the best decks in wild.

I feel like after the nerf Yogg wasn't used as much as NZoth.
