Hello, Hearthpwn! This is the first in a series of threads that will help decide what is the Best Hearthstone card of all time. Each post will have a Strawpoll of 5 of the best cards from that expansion. It's up to y'all to decide which of those cards is the best. You can use whatever criteria you see fit to determine which one is the best. I'm looking forward to seeing the discussion.

 zeddy and rarran did the same thing and you cannot rate cards as they are right now. they didn't even rank mysterious challenger top 5 eventho it literally changed the whole meta to revolve around countering it. currently nobody plays warsong commander, but BRM warsong commander is probably the most powerful card ever printed. you have to consider the release state of the card and the meta it was in or else rankings will be worthless

 Seconded. Unless you're doing it based on playability back then it's a fairly pointless exercise imo.

The answer to this question was given by Kripp many years ago: the Credit Card.

Doesn't matter the expansion, it's always your most powerful card.

I should clarify since it seems like I've caused some confusion.

You're rating the cards based on their current stats and effects. So if a powerful card has been reverted (Wild Growth, Undertaker, Renathal), you can rate them based on their most powerful time in Standard, Wild etc. I just wanted to exclude cards that hadn't been reverted because then that would make cards like pre-nerf Innervate and pre-nerf Kael'thas easy choices.

 So you want to know what’s stronger. Current WG or current winaxe? That’s even stranger.
