So before the round in the screenshot, I played Shudderblock planning to kill my enemy with the transformed siege tank by killing his low health minions and then all the excess dmg going to his face, he did his battlecry 3 times as expected, but the excess damage didn't go to the enemy hero as I thought it would, why didn't it work?
We’ve all been there. Oddly Shudder and Brukkan works in wild!
not really that oddly, think they explained it somewhere before
but basically if the damage is part of the Battlecry then the damage won't work as the text clearly states that the Battlecry can't damage the enemy hero
if the damage comes from a spell or a different ability that is not part of the Battlecry text then the damage will go through
Exactly and that is why it does work with Kalimos too. The battlecry is not directly damaging the opponent but choosing an action regardless whether the action can actually damage your opponent

Ahhh fair enough. I sometimes run it in my XL Reno Shudderwock Shaman. Feels like a V weak card unless you can pair it with Shudderblock but then it feels very good. If we had 45 slots I'd probably run it.. :D

Yeah, at first glance I also hoped it would work, but it would be too easy to ohko, and too punishing against specific decks.
Read the shudderblock desc carefully buddy
