I am just curious how many iPad users still have problems with the game. My client constantly crashes even just browsing the collection not to mention during matches. I have asked technical support many times but never got a reply.
Yeah I usually play on an iPad, I can't use the collection through there, so have to build decks on my phone instead. But it will frequently crash while playing
I play on my iPad occasionally when watching the kiddos, and my biggest beef is being on the collection page, swiping up to jump to a browser with D0nkey or Hsreplay deck codes, copying them, and jumping back to Hearthstone and the game has to relog. Like, this operation is within 8 seconds, and it's enough to make the program think it needs to restart.
That may not match the definition of crashes you are describing, though. I had tried playing on my wife's older iPad, and THAT would crash like crazy. So the older your hardware is, the greater the chance of it just failing to perform.
It’ll be memory issues most likely. No issues on my brand new iPad and on my iPhone 16 but on my older iPad it crashes a fair bit after 20 minute games, browsing collection etc.

How old is your older iPad? Mine is 3 years old. I can’t believe that’s already too old
iPad Pro M1 (2021) and IPad 10 both work great, very few crashes even on long battlegrounds games . iPad 10 seems to have slower (ie better) battery drain but that may be because that particular tablet has not had as much use
However, older tablets we own which used to run HS smoothly a few years ago are now absolutely unusable with frequent crashes, slow responsivenesss etc
Mine is an iPad 8. Rarely crashes, but like I mentioned above, immediately closes HS when I try to jump to a browser to get deck codes. Deck management is infinitely easier on my PC because of that (along with other tablet limitations like typing).
I also use my old iPad 8 which crashes on a regular basis when browsing collection, playing BG's but on a frustrating amount when entering the shop. This seriously keeps me from buying packs. Blizzard better fix this, or I won't be spending my hard earned money on this game anymore. (Just kidding, im a F2P-Player)
To the point: The latest patch also increased the level of unplayability as I get freezes for up to 10 seconds. It seems to be irrelevant to action I'm currently trying to do (like pick one from the above). Has anyone experienced the same? Reinstalling didn't change sht.
I was unaware people still used tablets. No joke. I haven't see one in ages. I guess the updates are too much for the software/hardware to handle anymore? When I had a tablet in the 2010s that crap was always slow and hot. A tablet is better than mobile. The chances of doing the wrong move are way lower since the screen is bigger. Can't tell you how many mistakes I have made on mobile.

An iPad with an Apple Pencil is a really nice experience, for what its worth. Very precise inputs. That's how I get some games in when putting the kids to bed, etc.

Very frustrating! Especially when I am about to win a game and it crashes in the middle of a move.

Please specify models that you use.
My iPad 6 (2018) is unusable for HS since 2021.

Hey guys,

Wow, my iPad is updating Hearthstone!
It didn't work at all throughout 2023, so I just gave up.
Edit: It updated, but it's still crashing. Oh well, back to PC.
