This is probably a launcher issue but when you try launching game through right-clicking taskbar icon > launcher tries to run the game > "what's new" ad pops up > game launching gets interrupted and canceled > you have to close the ad and relaunch the game...
Running a game shouldn't require you to open the launcher(Steam never does this), not to mention having to close ads to launch the game again.
I think it represents their priority quite accurately.
If you have the Battle.net Launcher set to start automatically with Windows, try disabling this feature. This may prevent ads from loading as soon as you turn on your PC.
