Ive been thinking about this when ive been deckbuilding decks for this expansion. If a DK plays 8 hands and has a Kil'Jaedon then you're just screwed, or if a control deck just plays a Kil'jaedon in general you might be screwed if you're playing a slower deck without Kil'jaedon
My guess is anything that isn't a fast aggro deck needs to run Kil'Jaedon just in case
Kil'Jaeden isn't as powerful as you think. Drawing and playing one increasingly large guy per turn isn't actually that great, as far as top-ends go. You spent a turn playing a War Golem and your next several draws will actually be worse on average than the cards that were in your deck. Many decks have stronger plans to outright kill you, or can just swing board and aggro you down if you don't draw a few specific defensive demons. He'll close out a game about as often as the Golden Kobold you shuffled in with Marin, which is like, I've seen it happen. But it's not usually how things go. He's substantially better in warlock because you get two demons per turn with lifetap + Foreboding Flame.
Not really. The 8 Hands costs 8 mana, so it will be played turn 8+ and many times it won't even remove too many cards. It's a worse, more expensive Tickatus with symmetrical effect. It is a good card against DK (Plagues), Shaman (Asteroids, Eruptions), Druid (Aviana). But this combo is too slow and too weak - you are still left with 8 cards, then both of you draw and play them and then he plays Kil'jaeden and then he starts getting random demons. Some games might be won this way but I doubt there will be many.
