Just as the title says. I unfortunately only got one screenshot of me having both trinkets. I don't have a video of the bug happening. But if anyone wants to throw their game to recreate it you will see that only one triple reward is given to each player. As the sticker states that "Whenever a player plays a golden minion, both players get a Triple Reward" when this is doubled, it would make sense that each player gains 2 upon trigger. Instead there's only one. This sucks and is lame and gets patched quickly i hope because i love the idea of each of the trinkets i picked. The ones that greed have always been fun and these new duo specific ones are the best addition in a while to BG. I want to be able to use both please.
If the trinket read "whenever a player plays a golden minion, give the other player a triple reward" then that would unambiguously work the way you describe.
As it stands:
Did one player play a golden minion? Yep. Did both players get a triple reward? Yep.
What happened when a player played a golden minion? Both players got a triple reward.
This might well be a bug but it could also be working as intended. In other words a binary effect like "death rattles trigger twice" as opposed to "an extra time."
Maybe. But other trinkets that are worded the same, blood golem sticker, booty bay brew, etc, all double their effects when there's two of them. Seems bugged.
If I "give" twice (like Booty Bay) then I give two. If I "summon" twice (like Blood Golem) then I summon two.
Arguably this one sets up a new aura effect that establishes a new rule, a one-sided effect becomes a two sided effect.
This might be a bug, lots of the effects are worded in similarly ambiguous ways and they still double. Windrunner Necklace for example is phrased as a static condition but I'm pretty sure it doubles.
But Hearthstone always favors brevity over precision in card texts and it's not actually wrong here, just ambiguous and arguably inconsistent.
It would probably be too powerful an effect to double, triple or quadruple, it's probably deliberately coded that way.
I mean the highroll here both players get the double trinket thing and every time you get a golden minion your partner gets 4 triple rewards right? And then every triple they get gives you another 4 and so on.
If it worked as an additive stackable effect in addition to the regular rules, the expected outcome in that scenario would be I play a triple and get a reward (1) then the trinkets kick in and I get 4 more (5) and then my duos partner gets 4 (9). And any triples kick off the chain again.

Those two aren't worded quite the same though.
