I was recently banned for automation of gameplay but I don’t even know how to program a bot. Does anybody know if these kind of bans are permanent? They didn't clarify it.
It's been a while since I've had to contact customer support but when I had to do it before I was able to chat to a human Blizzard employee within a few minutes.

I have sent them a ticket but they didn't take it seriously at all.
They didn't respond or they didn't take it seriously?
I send them a ticket, telling them that I never did such a thing. Then, they respond like "sorry but you were banned for botting and we don't allow botting". I push them a bit more, but now they don't respond at all. And by the way they used automation because their response was like it was made by a bot.
Assuming that's all true you should submit another ticket, obviously follow any "appeal the ban" type options if you have any.
Go and post about this on the official forum if you haven't already. Seems unlikely you'd be the only person this has happened maybe someone there can help or maybe you'll get in touch with a representative that way.
And go on their social media accounts to tell your story publicly on their Twitter/Facebook and try to get the attention of a representative there. Randomly deleting customers' accounts and refusing to speak to them is a really bad look.
And be polite and clear while you're doing all this.
It’s not just having a program play the game for you that gets swept up in these bans. Autoclickers, disconnect programs, macros for farming gold in mercenaries have all been banned before. You should review the ToS and make sure you haven’t violated them before you escalate any further.

I have no autoclickers not macros for farming gold or whatever but could you please elaborate on the disconnect programs? what are they and how are they related to this issue? I say that because for the past few weeks I am having problems with my internet and sometimes I get disconnected from the matches, rarely but it happens.
If you are innocent I feel bad for you and hope to hear this was resolved! Please keep us updated! It might be a sign of accidental bans are on the way.
No form of botting used at all? Even if you have something passively clicking for you it can be seen as botting. If you are really innocent, I hope they fix it. Can you provide screenshots of your support tickets?
Damn. If this is really legit then it's scary. I've been playing since Beta, I have such a large collection that I only play Wild. If I were banned for all the wrong reasons that would be a sad day indeed. No way would I start over, considering the time and expense I have already put into the game. Botting? Heck, I don't even copy decks.

Have you reached out through the website?

Did you get someone else to use your account with a bot instead then? I feel like we're not getting the whole story here.
I never let anybody use my account. They don't respond to my ticket at all by the way.

Good luck let us know how it goes.
Thank you.By the way, at least the ticket still has "opened" status so they still may rethink the action, I don't know.

BeigeHydra 100% a bot name 😂😂
Then tell to Blizzard to not include autogenerated names option so people don't lose their accounts for no reason

Press some Emotes.
Bots can't use Emotes.
Sometimes when I play with my laptop flipped and with the touchscreen I can't emote.
Yes they can. Silver bots in Wild ranked, use emotes, mainly when answering to another emote.

Pretty sure they can
