Let's just boycott this crap. 60$ for ONE (1) skin is outright criminal.
1) Don't buy this, please. (if not enough money will come to them after the release, they won't try this in the future). 2) Just concede the every game, if someone using this skin appears. 3) Leave a comment on the official thread, like other comments.
I genuinely love this game, have been playing for quite a long time, so i don't want it to just die under those hideous business practises.
I was always going to boycott this skin for the same reason I boycott all the diamond skins. I have no interest in them and my willingness to spend money on Hearthstone is more than exhausted by the money I spend on tavern passes.
Some players want fancy cosmetics and are willing to spend loads of money on them. That's who these products are for.
HS monetization has always sucked. Cosmetics that offer no in-game advantage are the most consumer-friendly way the game could be monetized and we should encourage this. You SHOULD concede when you meet a Ragnaros player on ladder, but only to give him a win.
I don’t usually complain about this game but yeah the skin looks amazing it’s pretty fking cool but the price is just outright ridiculous and incredibly greedy. I feel the profits would be better for them if they put this effort into skins and then released them for an affordable price. That way more people would buy them, they’d get the money they so desperately crave but the players don’t have to break the bank all for a cosmetic.
The people who decide the prices have to be morons. There is no way this things makes more money for them at $60 then it would at $15. I live in Canada with the price difference and tax it's probably going to cost close to $90.
I don't understand you guys. Why are a lot of people like this?
You wanna spam emote and rope someone who buys a skin? Really? You should vote with your wallet but transferring your anger onto another customer is childish and doesn't seem right.

Yeah, and they'll just ignore the rates for euro and'll keep it at 60€
As i've said, i love this game and i don't want it to be ruined completely. If someone is stupid enough to pay for this crap then yes, i don't want them to play this game. Don't encourage greedy business practises. Is this really hard to understand?
stop playing the game. blizzard turned it in to a gotcha whale mobile game. of course their going to rip you off because why wouldn't they if people keep buying digital nonsense.
Cosmetics are just not worth it. I do pay for rewards tracks, and they have cosmetics. But the traditional harthstone one is usually break even in the extra gold you get to buy packs, and the battlegrounds one gives you an advantage with two extra hero choices. Anyone who pays $60 for a board skin has way more money than sense.
Dont cut off your nose to spite your face by conceding. That just idiocy.
If you are ok with it, then go with it. I am just tired they purposefully try to rip more people off and ruin the game i grew up with. I am just not a type of person to put up with it.
Also, in the official thread you wrote that you will quit this game after 10 years because of this news. I am not judging, but don't you want to try and change something?

Every time someone complains about this, it means nothing.
.00001% of the player base may share this sentiment, but most humans agree that “it’s their money, they can do what they want with it.”
And it offers no power advantage in any capacity, it’s purely cosmetic. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. That simple, and always has been.
If you go to the shops you'll probably find you can buy a really cheap pen and one that does the same thing but looks a bit nicer that costs 10x as much. Assuming you don't boycott the shop, accuse the shopkeeper of criminality, and deride the people who purchase the expensive pens, you should forget the non-issue that is Hearthstone selling cosmetics that cost more than you're willing to pay.
They're pretty explicit in the press release that these are intended for people who "players who really care about cosmetics," who haveshown a lot of excitement for [i.e. spent a lot of money on] cosmetics with a higher quality bar" and who want "ultra-premium cosmetics."
Assuming that the cosmetics are as advertised there's nothing criminal or immoral about selling expensive cosmetics to people who want to buy them. It's good for the health of the game. It's good for players if Blizzard make more of their money this way than through loot box bullshit, decreased time between expansions, reduced free rewards and so on.
It's especially good for players who have no interest in ultra-premium cosmetics.
This is just nothing. You'll probably never even see the skin outside the shop.

If you just concede to anyone who bought it, doesn't that just mean if you buy the skin, they just win some matches by default?
Rope and spam emote anyone who bought it.
I never support this normally but anyone who supports this super greedy move from Blizzard deserves it.
Imagine taking away something that was stable since release and putting it back for 60$.

Have you even thought this through? Sounds like a victim finding reasons to hurt themselves
Another one, lol

Ok, they will win like 10 games, but won't see any of the "unique" animations and cool picture they paid 60$ for.
It's a win for me, at least.
Wow dude, your "winning bar" is pretty low

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

I want a Warlock Mythic Skin.
Cho'gall would be awesome.
Plz, Blizzard. UwU
I love the Skin. I really don't want to spend $60 on this game but damn... RAG... 3D... OMG. I have mighty neeeed.
