I used to use Mercenaries mode for "cast x spell school 12 times" quests.
I just noticed last week they stopped working. I thought this might have been related to the quests not updating, but even re-booting my game didn't work.
Now that quests seem to be working again, that mode still isn't.
Was there an announced change I missed?
I noticed this too (and lost 1000 exp thanks to it). I am not aware of this being an intentional change that was mentioned in patch notes, and I'm pretty sure I would have noticed. There's also a thread about this on the official forum (that got no official response).
I assume it is a bug, but have little hope it will get fixed.
It was such a easy and relaxing way to do this quests. I hope they will fix this. Otherwise I had to do a special deck just for the quests and play in casual mode. In ranked mode most of the time this quests will take very long to complete. Or I will skip them.
That failed-before-lauch game mode doesn't even count anymore lol.
You can also fight friends to do quests too. Unless that changed too.
I‘m doing this for the weekly brawl pack. As I just have my boyfriend as a friend in hs I sometimes play both acc at the same time to do his and mine quests. But sometimes it is faster to just play casual.
I have lots of decks in Wild for many of the quests (finale, weapon, quickdraw, forge, etc.) but I always did the spell school one in Mercenaries.
Oh well!
