It’s official. They have stopped caring about wild. With so many broken and cheat cards ruining wild game at the moment and none of the latest patch addressing these problems I think it is pretty clear they have given up trying to fix it.
But then here comes the question: why does wild still give you the same rewards as standard if people can play ridiculously broken decks like quest warlock or giant rogue and climb with no effort?
Just make wild recreational only with little to no reward and cut the BS

It is well known that Blizzard doesn‘t do much for wild cause it is simply wild. Actually this mode was never meant to be nerfed in any way. But they did nerfed or banned cards when it came to extrem. So they care, but they don‘t wanna do too much, cause wild should at least be exact this, wild. If you don‘t enjoy you have to play something else. Sad but true. I myself played also other modes, when I don‘t like current meta.

I play wild exclusively, ever since the split of the ranked mode. Quite the contrary to what you stated above, standard was and still IS the most garbage mode Blizzards Hearthstone has to offer.
The biggest question here is why didn't they hire one-trick shaman player like yourself, to fix current meta, game modes, balance cards and balance rewards between players, who exchange their game time for some progress?
As most of the rage-baits here, you offer no solution to any of the imaginary problems that you stated.
And btw, if you think that people who play anything else than standard shouldn't receive a dime in-game, standard only players should not be allowed to play anything past tutorial.

Of course there is a solution.
Only people like you who probably enjoy playing 10+ card in one turn masturbation like decks don’t see it.
Have a dedicated team that keeps wild in check. I am sure they can afford that

They already did some balance changes for Wild earlier this year. If the same pattern follows like the past few years, they do it literally once a year around the Standard rotation time when they have to un-nerf some cards, rotate to Wild, and keep in mind the power level of un-nerfed vs. existing Wild cards. Or else, they will just let Wild be wild... the powerhouse decks can run rampant on one another.

I agree, wild is pointless once you hit diamond... its either bots playing the same decks, or users playing those same bot decks. There's little to no varity.
To those appologizing for wild, then explain to me why the set can be so broken that a litteral bot that keeps dumping cards out of its hand (Pirate rogue, Totem shaman) can consistanty win and are ALWAYS in Diamond and above. Its because the format is broken.

Yes, Wild is full of crazy powerful stuff. It’s ridiculous! Some might even say it’s… kind of Wild!
There’s no way they can ever keep this format, with an ever growing card base, to be completely balanced. So they don’t! Instead they handle the occasional game breaking decks and move on.
I’m sure by their metrics, the Wild meta looks acceptable right now. You, or me, or others could disagree with them, sure. But there will always be someone unhappy with the state of Wild (really of every format), no matter the state of it.
If you want a “balanced Wild”, play Twist! That’s what their curated card pools are supposed to be (when it’s actually live and not a Duels rip off).

The whole game is sadly full of bots. Even Arena. As long as there are easy to pilot decks, and there always will be such decks, bots will flood the game. And as they play a whole bunch of games per day it’s no wonder they are in high ranked. Some people insta concede when they realize opponent is a bot. This makes it also easier to farm wins for them.

While I don't agree with your solution, I agree that it sometimes feels frustrating to climb from Diamond 5 to Legend in Standard. I know I could save a lot of time by playing Wild with a broken deck. Perhaps the Wild format should grant Wild packs, and Standard should grant Standard packs?

I would say wild is the only mode Blizz has been honest about. They stated it wasn't going to get regular balance passes and the nature of the cards meant it would be "wild". That's exactly what you've got. An overpowered mess of broken interactions.
I don't play Wild, but given the state of standard (which Blizz do profess to trying to balance), I can only imagine wild is a shit-show. If people enjoy it - thats up to them. Not sure why you think they should take away their rewards though. It seems very much like "I'm not having fun - you shouldn't either".

I actually got sick of playing standard for 4 years and finally turned to wild last month. I've had more fun 1 month in wild than I did in the 4 years I was in standard. Sorry to say but it seems to be a skill issue.

"Wild," synonym for out-of-control, over-the-top, crazy, unrestrained, unpredictable, overpowered, etc. was too vague a name, and apparently people didn't take the accompanying explanation seriously.
If they had named the two modes "Balanced" and "Unbalanced" they could've avoided all of this confusion.

Just take a second thought: Wild decks were once Standard. with a modification here and there with newer cards they maintain the original archetype. Not all are so easy to pilot as you describe, some require planning and thinking ahead.
I think that Wild needs no treatement. no change please. it's wild and should remain so. But i still can't 'recover' from the ban of stealer-of-souls which made warlock seed quest a funny party...Let's hope we will see it once or twice a year in the tavern.
I play a lot in wild and l like it ! like it! like it!

why do you want to cut off rewards for players that want to play wild?
if you don't like it, don't play it. why would you want it cut off?
you're the BS here
I play wild and I keep my rank low and hit legend at the end. Many people playing fun decks, we all have great fun. Why are you so angry?
Let me get this right. Should I be pleased with a format for which there is absolutely 0 care from Blizzard?
haha great solution just dont give wild players rewards so they are forced to play standard what a joke

We have a salt thread. Sorry to hear you're not enjoying yourself. Others are. I hope you find your mode/game you envision.
I play ONLY Wild, Standart meta is too small variability.
