The best nerf they could do is closing the game, becuase they have ZERO clue how to balance things and their way to try and fix things is to create even more broken stuff.
Hard to say, there are those cards that should be nerfed but probably wont and cards I do believe might see a nerf.
Personally I think Crusader Aura and Painter's Virtue should get hit from Paladin I'm not sure it will happen though it seems Blizzard is fine with Paladin being a powerhouse.
When it comes to Zilliax just remove taunt from the Perfect Module could cut a mana from the cost, it would still be played but it wouldnt have the same synergy with Hydration Station which I feel is a good thing.
Miracle Salesman, while I dont think it will be nerfed I do think a one mana minion shouldnt have a statline that can contest 2 mana minions at the same time as it gives you something good in return. I would bring it down to a 1/2.
Hozen Roughhouser cut the health or increase mana to four, a good buff minion shouldnt sit at 4 health for 3 mana its a sweetspot that makes it hard to deal with for most classes since alot of hand damage sits at 2 or 3 damage. Making it abit easier to contest the Pirate board and will tune down the pirate decks abit.
Tainted Remnant since in an Elemental deck this battlecry is almost 100% so I do think its statline is abit to powerful for 5 mana and that battlecry. Blackwing Corruptor was a really strong card back in the day and that was a 5/4. I do feel that with a powerfull Battlecry a 7/4 statline is to strong for a 5 mana minion I think they should bring it down to a 5/4.
Concierge, as with all cards like this I do feel like there should always have a minimum cost of 1 attached to it. 0 cost cards universally are never a good thing on specific things like Primordial Rune it works since its just one spell but when it decreases across the board its not good.

Nerfing some cards of the top tier class, makes the middle tier class go up a bit but the lowest tier classes will then still be worse than the mid tier classes. The bottom classes need buffs too, like Rogue and Priest. They are utter sh!t at the moment.

No, you Are Wrong. Buffing things Is worse. Imagine IT as people of different height. If you get another one of higher ceiling you have high risk of being higher than others or Lost between others without impact. While when you Nerf/ scale Down, you ensure that one WHO Stands out does not Stand out anymore And difference between new highest Is smaller. While risking only one single card (+maybe carried cards) to being unplayable instead of other whole decks. Nerf>buff. I dont say buffing can't be solution, JUST that Nerf Is more save approach. Currently i must say hs team maybe Is not best ať design, but they Are really good ať analizing situation And buff/Nerf effeciently, thow maybe could be more Fast.
Now compare IT to Inventor boom... Do you see a problem? Standalone IT looks ok, but you should Always consider IT with cards, which can extract additional value out of IT. Boom is a battlecry and synetgizes really badly with ryecleaver. Boom is problematic only because of zilliax, which can already be cheated with chemical spill. And sure, boom is stronger than ryeclaver, some cards are stronger than others.
I totally agree Zilliax should be nerfed but you can’t nerf control and leave aggro in this state. Pirates are out of control already. Imagine what they will become after Zilliax gets nerfed. And paladin is behind the corner too waiting to become obnoxious again. Crusader Aura nerf is long overdue and the monkey pirate whatever it is called should be dealt with ASAP as well

Back to HS... I dont see single Reason why Nerf chalice, you have IT in B-rank deck And even there IT Is JUST good card, without outperforming other cards. For me third card to Nerf instead Is sigil of skydiving.

While they surely arent top tier I don't acutally think they are that bad. Zarimi Priest performs alright and the elemental Rogue even better. The weakness of the two classes is they pretty much only have one deck that currently works in the meta. Not to mention Elemental Rogue deck outperforms the top deck of both Death Knight and Druid right now at least universally. High legend might be another matter.
But this could very well change when aggro gets a nerf. Both Priests and Rogue got some great tools that are being pushed back due to the power of the early aggression with that being slowed down abit I wouldnt be surpraise if some old decks came back. Nerfs can serve as buffs to decks especielly nerfs to aggro can upset the meta and change it quite abit.
Example of this is this years rotation early on alot of players considered Druid pretty much unplayable two sets of nerfs later Druid plagued the meta and had to be nerfed. Nerfing aggro can make some decks jump up quite abit because for alot of decks especielly Priest and Rogue they have pretty good tools they just can't deal very well against early aggression unless they highroll their draws. I would guess Priest espeicelly would gain more from nerfs than some of the mid tier classes.

Well the reasoning I can see is that if they indeed do nerf aggro, a combo deck like Druid could very well jump quite abit in performance and become a problem. The deck is already doing quite well against alot of decks its biggest weakness is aggro so its gonna be one of the big winners when aggro undoubtable will be nerfed.

Buffing things has the same affect as nerfing things.
Once you nerf a card, other cards pop op as overpowered. That will always be the case.
Maruut should get buffed to 6 mana and in general legendaries that see no play should be buffed is what I will say, If they see no play why are they even legendary?

Buff the PiP cards that aren't seeing play (all of them). Or wait for the dust to settle after Zilly and then decide.

I'd rather buff cards only if they are absolutely useless.
A buff I'd like:
The Ryecleaver: 7 -> 4 mana
Minion Sandwich: 2 -> 4 mana
