I've changed my mind. Lamplighter needs to get nuked from orbit - make it a 6 mana 6/7. It's the only way to be sure.
Every single match I've played tonight has been elemental [insert class] with Lamplighter as a finisher. If that doesn't indicate a card is broken I don't know what does. I would rather see Sire Denathrius again in his un-nerfed form. At least you could play around that to some extent by building a board.
It's not like the requirements are that tough. Sure you have to play elementals, but they've always been on the cusp of being good anyway, so that's not much of a drawback.
I don't think Blizz can bring this back after the expac without a serious change to a lot of cards. It's all damage from hand or aggro with a smattering of control warrior in there. In all honesty control warrior almost feels the fairest of the bunch even though Zilliax seems to be getting a lot of the hate. There are at least some counters to Zilliax other than "kill them before they..."

You can’t just nerf 6 cards and not expect 6 other great cards to then become great and take their place. Equally you can’t just break mechanics or end things. Just because something is OP doesn’t mean it can’t be fun and also well balanced. Breaking cards to the point of unplayability is not good.

Wrong, the cards are broken. Idc what becomes good just nerf the broken stuff.
Zilliax Deluxe 3000 should only come back once, unless explicitly copied by it's own battlecry module or another card, NOT Reborn. Reborn's effect returns the minion to life, it should NOT count as an additional copy.
New Heights Should only increase your mana cap by 3. Having it do that and ramp at 3 mana is grossly overpowered in terms of efficiency
Deepminer Brann should not affect Legendary battlecries, or make some battlecries End of Turn instead or something.
Concierge needs to have the (but not less than 1) text at LEAST while it's in Standard
Lamplighter can go to 4 mana if it really is an issue with Shadowstep and Sonya, otherwise a small rework like "If you've played an elemental on your last 3 turns, deal 5 damage." or something similar
I like all these changes except Zilliax, and I don't think a simple mana change will fix lamp lighter it's still just gonna be a cheaper pyro blast.
I think Zilliax losing the reborn tag pretty much fixes that card. Makes the decks that use it a little fairer without breaking them.

New heights is fine. Costs 3 mana and druids aren’t ramping on 2 anymore. If you take away all of a classes tools you don’t like it won’t be viable and we don’t want that.
So many cool cards, so many cool deck building interactions. Feels like after a couple of nerfs this will be a very healthy meta where all classes are playable and viable. A health battle between control, combo, aggro and mid range. Though no doubt people will still complain.
The funny thing is, 4 out of 5 warriors just instant concede when I steal Unkilliax from them or remove it (without killing, so it coulnd't be rez) the moment they place it in board. That shows exactly why it must be nerfed.

Transform cards, Mind Control Tech, that Deathknight card that steals a minion, and sylvanus
I won't guess specific card nerfs, but the most problematic decks are Control Warrior with the Zilliax abuse, and various OTK decks that are pushing out literally all slow decks that can't generate a ton of armor.
There are also probably a bunch of overpowered aggro decks that are currently held at bay by Warrior.
So many talks about nerving certain cards but 0 mentions of buffs to the weakest classes. Is this seriously the state we are in?
I haven't seen a lot of people asking for buff either, but from the current set, the mechanics need a lot more cards for the type of deck to work, or are too random to be functional. A couple minor buffs I could see is Nightshade Tea only damaging self by 1, and maybe Draconic Delicacy being brought down to 7 mana since it's only a 6/6 with some (good) text. Most of the other cards from the set seem to either be lacking support from other similar cards, or are way over powered/broken.
And although it hasn't been the biggest issue, Odyn, Prime Designate got a bit better with the addition of Sleep Under the Stars. With the amount of control and survivability Warrior already has, and the ability to double the attack gain with Deepminer Brann, it is one of the most consistent 30 damage from hand. You don't even need all three cards at the same time, just Bran on turn 8-9, Odyn a turn or two after, and as soon as the opponent doesn't have a taunt they're dead. I would like to see Odyn either get the Bladed Gauntlet text where you can't attack heroes, or make it only the first time you get armor in a turn or something similar.
Also I forgot about Inventor Boom's battlecry giving Rush Mechs Windfury for free without saying anything about Windfury.

Knowing blizzard, lamplighter is gonna get the shockspitter treatment and become minions only and kill the whole card.

You can't really tell if a class is truly weak until all the broken cards are nerfed. The nerfs can make those "weak" decks good.
