Well the meta is very bad. Even though multiple classes have pretty strong decks, all of the decks seem particularly unfun to play against with very little interactive play.
Hopefully the meta will sort itself but there are some obvious outliers that need tuning fast.
The crude solution that I've found is just to insta concede when I see I'm up against warrior or druid. I haven't played much of this expansion but I was already doing that last expansion. Why waste your life? If I have to play against those classes I don't want to play Hearthstone. So that's my way to squeeze a bit more out of the game. Otherwise it's unplayable. The fact that they've made the situation worse this expansion is telling. Them printing Hydration Station and giving it to both of those classes (!!!) is a baleful sign. Not a good time to be spending money on Hearthstone.
Salt thread complaining about the meta just a day after an expansion drops. SSDD .
Part of what makes Hearthstone great is that nothing stays the same. You must figure out a way to beat the top decks. Sadly most of those complaining netdeck. They try one deck and lose, then another, and another, rinse and repeat.
Learn how to build decks, and if you cant, at least how to adapt decks to your play style. Then play it until you master it. Because a player who knows how to play a deck can win against the vast majority of people who netdeck.

You're just wrong.
I doubt that. In the end the answer is to learn how to beat the top decks. If you cant its likely not the fault of the game but pebkac.
I´m personally glad that there are some other gamemodes. I was wild only. But since the last two expansions I don´t like it any more.
And as I saw vids from Martian Boo and Roffle from wild the last two days, they faced nearly only piraterogues, evenshamans, aggropriest aso. Nothing new. New decks are so rare in this format. It´s really sad.
So I don´t know if I wanna play this mode any longer. Glad that there is arena and standard and twist from time to time.
From this point of view I´m a little bit disappointed.
Outside of warrior, classes just don't have ways to answer the board at the moment - so much mana and stats are cheated out way before the appropriate removal tools exist to do anything about it, so the only way to counter aggro is either play aggro yourself and minion trade, or just play warrior/druid.
The meta feels warped this way because if you don't win before zilliax is played, you lose. Who'd have thought that the most broken card of all time getting additional support would be a problem? Rotate zilliax early would be the first step because so, so many other cards need to be looked at without him in the game to see if they're actually balanced.
I'm from a time when bad matchups were still winnable if you knew how to navigate and your opponent didn't know how to manage resources in the best way in fact that was one of the best feelings in this god damn game back in the day knowing how to menage to beat a really hard matchup still consistently as crazy hard it was, none of that matters anymore, board barely matters. You see warrior you press concede it's simple as that.
Very lame.
Also, i'm main Rogue btw, they printed Maestra and Eudora for what? is this a joke? You can't play them... yet Rogue is literally scamming people with a garbage gimmick neutral elemental deck abusing of a well-known dangerous mechanic for the class which is bounce. It's just questionable design decisions all over the place, honestly i'm so very disappointed with what the game has become lately and I totally understand people being pissed and even stopping playing.

I am glad there are other game modes. I play a lot of BG's.Its broken like the other modes since they brought back buddy;s but since there is a shared card pool, and only those cards, you have a chance of winning.
For constructed I do enjoy wild, you do get a greater variety in decks, but every one of them has a broken win condition. At some ranked levels there are a lot of similar decks, likely netdecks as they change every month or so. I think its where those decks plateau if you havent mastered them. I have really liked playing Astral Automaton Priest with a deck I created that suits my play style. Even shamans and dragon druids give me the most problems, but it does good against the rest, even quest warlock (last months netdeck of choice). Thing is you cant win every game, but if you are over the 55-60% range it doesnt feel like a waste of time.
The redeeming element is that this expansion seems to have taken out the potential for OTK from hand which was toxic and focused more on board control.
tell me you either dont play the game or smoking some wild stuff, otks are everywhere turn 5

I agree. Its very frustrating to try any new deck outside the OTKs and infinite Zilliaxes decks. Even trying to ramp as druid is very hard cause you're dead by turn 6 for OTK druid, OTK pally or OTK rogue, and of course, the hyper aggro DH or pain warlock. And by the chance you get to ramp to 10 mana, you have to deal with warrior's BS reviving Zilliax 37 times... Zzzz

This is pure nonsense. You don't figure anything. Deckbuilding in 2024 Hearthstone is simply impossible, meta is both very fast and solved fast and best deck are so much better than what you can brew, it is not even remotely funny. Learning how to build deck is useless and all you can do is to learn which netdecks are best and how to play them. Unless you want to stay at trash legend.
What you said was true years ago. We could see streamers building decks and winning with them. Now they sure try new things in the first week of new expansion, than they stop trying (or like Kibler, stop winning).

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

Looking forward to the other modes now.

Quest mage / Secret Mage meta was boring

Zilliax has to go, it's nonsense.

I feel this expansion was underwhelming - I have yet to include any new cards in my decks - They seem so weak.
When are they gonna learn that ressurrecting big minions over and over is not fun?
tell me you either dont play the game or smoking some wild stuff, otks are everywhere turn 5
So naive.
