In February I failed to reach diamond and ended the season at P2
To my surprise my star bonus in March has not dropped to 7 as it should have but it is still 9 as the past season.
Is this working as intended or is it a bug?
As far as I know the bonus stars are not assigned according to the achieved rank, but according to the highest achieved MMR for the previous season which players do not see.

That actually sucks that I can't see my MMR. I wonder why they have to keep it secret. I also wonder why I can't see the ranking of my opponent
Last month I got to D5 - 9 stars
January I got to P5 - 6 stars
Sometime last year I dropped from P5 to S2 as I didn't play much that month but I kept the 8 stars when the season ticked over.
