"I keep losing to the card that kills my minions. How do I avoid having minions?"
If you read the previous poster's response, he mentions that the key here is to not "over-commit" to the board. You can still play minions, but you need to use wisdom in regards to how many minions to play onto the board at a time. If you expect the opponent to have a board clear or two, simply play fewer minions at a time, so the loss doesn't affect you as much and you can reload easily. THe quickest way to lose a game as an aggro or minion-based deck is to throw everything you have onto the table in the hopes of overwhelming the opponent when there is a good possibility he has an answer to it.
Is there a mistake in the thread title or are you implying "how do I play against random card generation mage"? If it's the latter, you can't play around random card generation.

Any tips on how to play around it?
Like with every single board clear: don't over commit to the board. Hold back from playing your early game minions as much as you can.
