I have been playing HS for multiple years in total (added a small proof), last year I rarely got to play the game, which caused a massive gap in my collection and game knowledge.
Bottom line - I am looking to build a strong and fun control deck, could be on any of the classes.
Blood DK is definitely the strongest control deck at the moment. If it's a "fun deck" is debatable, but it's definitely very good for players without a big collection of cards. Most of the cards are free and the majority of the ones that aren't could easily be replaced (maybe with the exception of Vampiric Blood - that one is a must have).
Control Priest (aka Svalna Priest) is also doing surprisingly well, so if you like priest you can also try that one.
As far as control decks go there's also control Warlock, but it doesn't really do well in the current meta.
If you want a really fun to play deck, I strongly recommend Tony Druid. However, it's more of a combo deck, rather than control and it is pretty expensive.
(I put some decks from those archetypes at the end here. They're not the ones I'm using, but are somewhat similar - sorry, I don't post my decks on hearthpwn often. I also couldn't find a Tony Druid deck on hearthpwn, that resembles the one I use, so here's a link to that deck on a different website - https://hearthstone-decks.net/tony-druid-20-legend-nohandsgamer-score-6-1/ - I use a very similar one, but with Rhythm and Roots)
Try Tony Druid or Relic Demon Hunter, Vicious Syndicate (a trustworthy source when it comes to the strength of decks, they do a lot of data analysis) recommended both in their latest podcast

Hello everypne!
I have been playing HS for multiple years in total (added a small proof), last year I rarely got to play the game, which caused a massive gap in my collection and game knowledge.
Bottom line - I am looking to build a strong and fun control deck, could be on any of the classes.
Any sort of help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Play blood dk. It's one of the best decks in the game and its relatively cheap because a lot of good death knight cards are free.
