Hi. I’ve noticed that since the last patch, my HS client won’t show me the actions my opponent does anymore. For example when they hover over cards in hand or on the battlefield, they won’t get selected nor the red borders are shown. so basically it looks like all my opponents are bots lol.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Is it know wether it’s on purpose or a bug?
I mean sometimes players hover over cards to annoy their opponents, so I could imagine they removed that feature.
I saw this. Suspected bots at first, but the wait times, the small errors or small partial trades made me realise they are pretty decent players. Idk if intentional or not, but it's definitely not just you.
Same here, IMO the game is unplayable without that feature you lose so much information specially on the mulligan, i just cant imagine it is on purpose.
Same here. I use the "red glow" for a lot of different reasons, and it suddenly seems like it's just not there? Which makes everything seem like a poorly programmed bot move, or something. I can't find a Blizzard official response on it either.
[Added 4/17] The team is aware that opponent’s mouse-overs are no longer showing. This was part of a temporary mitigation to a bug the sometimes blocked card text. Opponent mouse-overs will return in a later patch.

Oh, I hadn't read that either. Honestly, sometimes they bury the lead on just what constitutes a bug on those lists, with game-impacting ones smooshed in between other frankly not important things. Big thanks, skarma!

TYVM. Didn’t stumble upon that text. :)

Before reading xskarma's answer i was convinced it was to make bots less noticeable (despite their decks and instantaneous actions)
