This very fact is the point of the thread itself. Insanity is doing the same thing yet expecting a different result and by that logic, Blizzard has clearly become an asylum being run by its inmates. "Set and or class design" wtf is that amirite
I kinda blame both. Think about it. if they didn't think the mindless hordes of netdeckers would obediently play the repetitive nonsense, then they wouldn't put it out. A portion of the Playerbase has to accept some of the blame for ruining the format in the name of "must win even if turn off brain in process"
Kindly provide the last 3 home brew decks you’ve reached legend with.
I’m confused. Where did you read that I took 3 home brew decks to Legend? Or were you just being antagonistic because I was offering a player some help, for some unknown reason?
Tall stranger is a notorious blizzard shill and douchebag. Don't bother talking with him, you'll only get the company line.
You're still around? I swear you keep saying you've quit the game, but you hang around here spewing your typical conspiracy theory nonsense. And, dude, I'll take my reputation around here over yours every time. You're the equivalent of everyone's drunk uncle at Thanksgiving: he stumbles around talking nonsense, while everyone else ignores him and laugh at him behind his back.
My entire point to that dude (who claims to have ignored me but everyone knows is still reading this) is that expecting each class to have multiple, viable archetypes to reach legend is absurd. And I explained why. Not once in that explanation did I say something nice about Blizzard. The only time it came up was when I said that, if you want Blizzard to create enough cards to make all these archetypes, you better be ready to pay for it (and accept that FTP's will get screwed by this change). Again, just a fact: Blizzard's not going to put all that work in without charging us more. I didn't judge whether or not that was "good" or "fair."
You'll notice I never once said I liked the current meta: I don't have an opinion of it, because it hasn't settled yet. There are some decks that look interesting, some that look stupid, and some that I haven't played or played against enough to form an opinion. So, basically, I haven't said anything nice about Blizzard nor defended it in any way. Guess I'm not much of a shill.
“Or were you just being antagonistic because I was offering a player some help, for some unknown reason?”
You misunderstand.
I was taking to Anarchist, look at his previous reply. He was saying he reached legend with home brews and I asked him which one he used. No one is being antagonistic here.
Yeah you did:D sry for 4 answers, but it was impossible to copy the codes in game and sending them without hs closing itself in the background each time on my mobile phone

We can't judge this terrible fucking game until the meta settles.....hahhahahahahaha
After looking at 3nnu1 post history, he trash talked the game since early 2020. he also consistently spreads conspiracy lies about rng and rigging. so why are you still here? Just to troll and trying to ruin the game and discussions about it for the rest of us? Or do you troll and still play, that would be even more sad.
I actually really hate the game now and my excitment at the death of Brann and Guff has faded....
Who needs guff when you have a 6+/6+ armor hero power LUL + braindead garbage like Anoob + tony + Jailor. all three of those cards are incredibly garbage design someone which actually game balance experience wouldn't print.
This game is complete shit. Keep giving them money and theyll keep creating stupid uninteractive trash.

He was talking to someone else who posted 3 very lame wild warlock decks. considering, this post is really focused on state of Standard(new cards), it was pretty pointless to say in many ways.
"Game' fine. I can still win with the same braindead secret mage or res priest ive played since 2016"
It wasn’t pointless. It proves that even in a way higher power level format homebrew is possible at a decent rank. It’s old cards because they were pre-expansion.
Wild has a far higher power level then standard. Claiming something different is clueless. It’s normal for druid to have 10 mana turn 4 now, Neptulon can be summoned turn 3, 10/10 in pirates on board turn 1/2, 7 attack kingsbane on 3, even shaman killing your with totems on turn 4 etc pp
the average game length in wild is wayyy shorter then in standard. And there are a lot more broken cards. So please explain, how should Standard ever be a higher power level format?
Pretty much. This has happened so many times consecutively, you think they'd've put some more effort into set and class design, but nah

I stopped reading at the first paragraph, tallstranger. At least you finally managed to be snarky.
”If you buff stuff that isnt played, you wont rly hurt anything that works but you could create new stuff.”
Maybe buffing cards which aren’t used could be a short-term solution. It would likely involve way too much work from the dev team.
He can say whatever he wants: everyone knows he read the whole damn thing...
Well said. DK is a fcking joke and all they did was nerf one card which has done naff all!
This new expansion really does suck unless you play deathknight only

Best prove for wild being higher power level : blood and frost dk both suck atm. And pure paladin isn’t great either
