Last night and today i have been paired against a few bots. They all play death knight and they have names like turturrr, cxcnxc, jhhjh, and so on.Whats the deal guys? Not enough players to match everyone up? Someone trying to max out their 1000 wins for death knight? What gives?
Just got three more bots in a row. All death knights. They all play the same deck and do some occasionally ridiculous plays. I always emote them and rope them to test their patience and none of them ever respond or change their pace.
It is happening on EU too, on low rank (Silver), it is always DK with some ridiculous starting player deck filled with basic cards such as Chillwind Yeti... Honestly, who tf plays that card if not absolutely new player? As mentioned stupid face play, no emote, no logic plays, just play highest cost card and hit face...
I encounter them numerous times, honestly it's annoying but it's a free ranked win, I'll take it when I can get it. They're beat so easily, I don't understand how the owner could get anything out of those accounts if they can't farm

Just played against one on EU Wild. I played even DK for quest "Use Hero Power 20 Times". I suspected it is bot on mulligan because he was kinda confused and stuck with coin. When I saw it really is bot I did not go lethal until I finished quest. Reported with little to no hope that Blizzard will act on this.
Interestingly it was not random name. It was Hunter with alternate skin. Used just hero power and roped every turn. I played Dirty Rat and it did not pull any minion. Latter when he reached overdraw it was all spells.
I really don't get why would someone use this crapbot on that acc., I mean, what's the point. That can't win against my dog.
Actually now when I think, it may be that someone used macro to play HP and farm XP. That only make some kind of sense. Still, because of confusion with coin I think it is some kind of really poorly programed bot.
I've seen a good amount of bots at gold 5-1. Dk and a couple other classes. All play cards you wouldn't expect. Sen'jin Shieldmaster, yeti, and other basic cards. What tipped it for me was watching the Death knights heart strike their own 1/3 instead of my 4/3. it's always the heart strike on their own minions rather than on the opponents.
What would be cool is if blizzard would let you know when someone gets banned from your report - like rocket league does.
I report these bots instantly, but knowing my report actually did something keeps my mind from wondering the report did absolutely nothing and is still sitting there waiting to be reviewed for years to come.
The last couple of days I have gotten nothing but bots in Wild. Like 1 out of 3 matches is a bot. I'm about ready to uninstall this game. Clearly reporting them does nothing.
I love playing against bots in Ranked, because you get to reap in the free wins. In the EU here, they all have names in Russian letters and you know if they are bots, because if you go to the friends tab, they don't appear as Current Opponent, or last opponent.
Also, it's hilarious when they "accidentally" buff your own minions by mistake lol
Also-also, use the in-game report function. It's what it's there fore, and yes it DOES work. Reporting players has an effect. You just dont get told about it.

Can you provide evidence please?
Tricky, because not without breaking the "Name and Shame" rules. But suffice to say I have seen first-hand people who have been silenced for varying periods of time after flaming in the in-game Chat. And the fact that the bots cannot be added ingame / found in the previous opponent's screen, then they are clearly established as non-players by the game, and therefore easy for Blizzard to spot (when following up on reports).
That all said, I do also remember reading "somewhere" (Reddit? Blizzard Forums?) that Blizzard have added their own bots to the game so that people at low ranks will always have someone to play, quickly and easily. But I honestly can't remember where I read that, nor if that specific claim is true or not. So take that one with a pinch of salt until proven either way.

Heeey what's wrong with Chillwind Yeti?🤬 lol
I see them with DK or druid aggro. I report them after the games.
Anyone still playing this trash is a bot.
Same.
About 5-6 bots. All DK and play same crap cards. Names like asafdfd dsafaaa
fsdf
dfdfsd

I checked his deck and he had Prince Renathal Barak Kodobane Queen Azshara and Beaststalker Tavish in his deck, other were all spells.

Absolutely nothing, it is just so basic value card, that no sane player would put it in the deck :D

Yes, the heart strike on their own minions. Seems to be an error in their bots.

NOTHING New.
heck i bet some of them bots are from Blizzard themselves, so many players must have left. atleast those bots dont burn every Single ropę lol
