but to my surprise i struggle to have a one drop on turn 1 in implock
but i cant remember the last time i didn't have a 1 drop as pure paladin.
there is something reeky about this. ive reported this in libram pally era where they had 4 1 drop and and they had it too consistently on turn 1 but my Darkglare zoo with 10 one drops was struggling
1. A troll, looking to start a food fight by posting something he knows is going to get people riled up; or
2. A conspiracy nut who is resurrecting the "Blizzard is secretly controlling your win/ loss record in order to blah, blah, blah" nonsense. If this were being done to everyone playing implock, it would be obvious immediately to sites like HSReplay, which track all this, and would lead to a massive scandal. Since that hasn't happened, the only logical answer is that Blizzard is after you. Sorry, dude, but I doubt you're that important. OR
3. (Best option) You, like many people, are a victim of confirmation bias.
If option 3, get a deck tracker (or do a serious study tracking your opening hand). If option 1, congrats, you got what you wanted. If option 2, seek professional help.
man im not jobless to record every single game i play.
i play both and there is no reason to lie to someone i dont know, this is my evidence.
you busy undermining a random report is a good evidence though
And there is your issue: you don't care for evidence and have no understanding of biases.
It isn't about lying, it is that evolutionary it is beneficial for our brain to simply put less emphasis on good outcomes in favour of remembering the bad ones.
Either this thread's participants start being civil to one another, or it is getting closed. We have seen this topic enough times and we don't need one where people start flaming eachother.

I don't understand why blizzard would do that. Especially since implock is, on average, a much more expensive deck.
i don't know what you can conclude here, but I've had this experience in like probably 1k games; i think paladin is getting better ordered draws, the motifs for this? i dont know. probably its been known for its midrange identity so lets give them better ordered draws.
whatever its i actually don't have bias, i get better draw playing paladin, maybe its only me but its been the case for years
You know, it's not impossible that Blizzard could do something like this. I don't think it's beneath them morally or too hard technically. BUT there's actually massive hearthstone data aggregation projects like HSReplay and Vicious Syndicate that deal with orders of magnitude more hearthstone games than you've ever played and don't work off flawed human memory. Hearthstone data is observed on a scale that if Blizzard tried anything like this they'd get found out within a day. Nothing's happening.

The bias is an evolutionary trait. It is very unlikely if not impossible that you don't have it.
Other than that it appears highly subjective. What is "better ordered draws" supposed to mean? That you draw things to play on curve that are playable immediately?
Well, just compare the deck list: half of Imp lock are reactive cards, require infuse or are generally more expensive so you don't want to or simply just can't slam them the turn you draw them. In Pure paladin you might run Biggun as infuse but other than that you have very few expensive cards and only one, two and three drops. So yes, you won't draw cards that you hold for a few turns.
OP doesn’t care about evidence. He’s decided on something and intends to stick to his gun, whether it’s true or not is irrelevant. Just putting it out there, he’s not going to change his mind about this. It’s his right of course but no amount of discussion is going to amount to anything. He”s decided to opt in the conspiracy and that’s the end of it. He’s got a job after all and therefore doesn’t have time to care about data. Only the unemployed rely on data to draw conclusions, it’s a well known fact.
it could be something weird, personally i believe that whenever you switch to a different deck your opponents decks change too(they match you up to different type of decks)
Window of their usefulness is also very narrow. On the one hand, because past turn 4 it's really difficult to build your board from scratch and deal any damage with it, thanks to effective removals, freezes and devolutions. On the other, because the lack of pressure gives your opponent space to breathe, often allowing him to develop something that you won't be able handle (e.g. huge ghosts from Miracle Rogue or tons of value from Ramp Druid).
But if you think about it, it makes perfect sense, because if you don't draw your imp-oriented cards, what are you left with? Crude version of Pure Curse Lock, aka one of the worst decks in the game...
I have around a 63% win rate with this deck so far, which is fine and above average, but it definitely feels RNG driven and draw dependent.
guys I've played both of these decks alot.
i run 8 one drops in both decks.
but to my surprise i struggle to have a one drop on turn 1 in implock

It's one of those again...
Small sample size and confirmation bias.
i know you work for blizzard. take a nap man, you dont know what alot means
i always felt the same with libram Paladin.
hell i made hunter Decks with 10 1drops and sometimes Got none....
... because you provided so much evidence?
Also, alot:
man im not jobless to record every single game i play.

Dear lord, not again. OP, you are either:

What exactly is your point?
I don't understand why blizzard would do that. Especially since implock is, on average, a much more expensive deck.
Take a look at my most recent deck, Watch post, totem, menagerie shaman.

Everyone knows this game is rigged. The gaslighting from the shills is ridiculous.
After about 300 games played with Curse Imp Lock, I can confirm that it's strong but also very inconsistent deck. If you want to be successful with it, in most matchups you need to draw your key cards very early on, specifically Flustered Librarian, Flame Imp, Wicked Shipment, Vile Library and Fiendish Circle. And not just one of them, because Flustered Librarian or Vile Library does nothing without Imps, and Imps are useless without Vile Library, Impending Catastrophe or at least Mischievous Imp or Imp King Rafaam in your hand.
Window of their usefulness is also very narrow. On the one hand, because past turn 4 it's really difficult to build your board from scratch and deal any damage with it, thanks to effective removals, freezes and devolutions. Matchmaking is manipulated.
