No it’s not good, and buffing a few useless cards didn’t help it one bit.
If anything, it’s now much worse after nerfs to renathal
What? If anything frost was buffed big time because of the lesser total health of your opponent. Frost is actually fine, a tier 2 deck, but blood doesn't have a win condition and I'm not sure what unholy wants to do.

Frost is tier 3. Came back for DK.Already thinking about quitting again though the game is even worse than 2 years ago , it doesn't promote thinking and wants you to be done in 6 turns cause aperrently its a mobile game. A bunch of classes do the most broken things even worse than in the past.
Also when looking at the threads on this website compared too two years ago the game seems to be dead , there are very little topics and it takes hours or days before anyone says anything this used to be allot different. Also 10k people watching the world cup vs 100k+ in the past.
Can't blame people if they make these broken boring decks and you have to play zoo lock for 8 years straight before they come up with something new. Rogue is still doing the same stuff and the list goes on.
Right now people get 20 mana and draw there entire deck while filling the board with 3/3 every turn starting at turn 4 or 5
People get 2x 11/11 with stealth on turn 2 or 3
They play infinite imps even if you have perfect draw and remove everything they do
Draw there entire deck in 5 turns and do 50 damage
Draw some beasts in a couple of turns and do 50 damage
Secret mage in Wild is even more annoying than it ever was cause they kill you in 4 turns and theres nothing you can do about it
The game is just really Uninteractive wich already started a couple of years ago (hence why I quit after playing top 100 for around 8 years straight) and it only got worse.
Atleast Prince Renathal caused the game to slow down a bit and not everyone and there mother running aggro decks only but hey to many play that so lets nerf it (even though almost 0 decks out of the top 9 used it ;) its just popular cause its fun not cause its broken)
Feels like these cards are made by a bunch of clowns and not tested at all but whatever.
I run a 3 rune Blood deck of my own design and have had a 77% win rate all the way into Legend. Win rate actually went up a bit in Legend, due to opponents running more strangely weird Warrior and Rogue decks. I love the deck and the only opponents I struggle with are Armor Druid, Demon Hunter and quest / deathrattle Priest, though those are far from guaranteed losses. One or two Patchwerks and most of those decks are out of the game. Mulligan is very important.
The deck is stacked with Discover, clears, silences, disrupts and value. There's no deck out there that can generate this much value and it feels great to play. I absolutely love the DK class and it's the only class I've played this month.
If only Unholy had more options to be able to come back on board if the mulligan is bad, it would be a great deck. Cause it can generate wide boards turn after turn and if your opponent fails to clear - its game over. I found out a more midrange/ tempo version with card draw is actually better then pure aggro rush, get empty hand turn 4 version.
I can tell you with full confidence that DK is good, except that the class is fair compared to the others. Therefore it's quite underwhelming as a result. DK cards are really great in value by themselves hence why DK is performing so much better in Arena than in Standard.
So why is DK underwhelming compared to other classes? First off, a rather limited set of available DK cards make its hard to make a DK deck have a lot of synergy without losing out on other benefits, so you would be making triple rune decks as they tend to have the most synergy. Triple Frost aims to tempo and burn down your opponent, Triple Unholy seeks to swarm the board and buff your minions, Triple Blood is focused on control and outlasting your opponent (think Control Warrior but better).
However in this meta, a lot of classes have ways to cheat mana such as Rogue, Druid, Priest, Hunter, Mage, etc. The only sources of Mana Cheating available for DK are the Nerubian Viziers and the Rimefang Sword for Frost decks. Even though the DK cards are inherently good in value, it really feels like you lose out on tempo whenever you play them since you still have to pay the full Mana cost most of the time. Not to mention that Triple Rune decks have blaring weaknesses such as Triple Unholy lacking a good draw other than Famished Fool, Triple Frost has a hard time dealing with classes that can regain health/armor since their burst is reliant on Discover, and Triple Blood practically has no win-con besides disruption and Alexandros Mograine.
Basically, DK is good and balanced but it hasn't reached the absurd power levels of the other classes which have had expansions of support. While DK pretty much relies on Discover to get access to its other spells in order to win and that's an issue of its own, but DK just doesn't have much options.
I'm honestly surprised that they haven't buffed the Runeless cards for DK such as Frostmourne and I thought the buffs to some DK cards were questionable. Like Ymirjar Deathbringer was already a good card and now they made it more annoying in Arena or increasing the cap of Corpse Bride when the issue was its lack of immediate board presence.
Sorry for the long reply, I really wanted to play Death Knight and it's a cool class to play but it's not the most competitively viable class at the moment. I hope that the mini-set changes that and we'll hopefully get some things to make Death Knight more on the same power level as the others.

This makes no sense.
"I can tell you with full confidence that Gucci is cheap, except it's expensive when compared to other brands."
It's a game entirely based in a competitive field of play. A class is only as good as its performance against other classes. Your statements assume a non-existent vacuum.
Im having success with blood reno renethal dk - lots of draw, discover and general tools to handle aggro, control and combo - so far the worst matchup is against spell dh.
Against aggro just get some early board presence and spells to deal with whatever they throw at you. You have enough healing to survive untill they run out of resources. Aggro is the easiest matchup.
Late game druid you have to pray to rngsus, but turn 10 brann and patchwerk works wonders most of the time - destroying their brann and other late game.
This deck probably dont work against deathrattle rogue, but havent seen them since the nerf thankfully
The class is super fun for old school ppl like me, it brought back proper resource management, something HS used to have but not anymore, and thats the reason its underperforming. Even Unholy, an aggro/midrange strategy, requires you to think 1 or 2 turns ahead cuz of corpse count.
The class is far better now after the last patch, my take is that its middle of the pack now. Certainly not unplayable anymore.

Just won 12 Legend rank games in standard in a row. Got the achievement for it just now. So yeah, Blood DK is good. :)
I'm facing nothing but face frost decks these days. Just go endlessly face and the basically OTK you with duplicated spell (or freeze your board for multiple turns with disovered spells).
It's great fun and I'm loving the Renethal changes which puts you in range of so many more "from hand" deaths.../s
p.s. you also got the class name wrong. It's "Discover Knight"...stupid...

Blood DK has all the tools you need to easily survive all that spell damage. Loads of Lifesteal and extra health. Frost DKs will be the least of your worries!

I mean you aren't wrong but at the same time you can set up that analogy for any other class since we do need to compare it to others to get a sense of their RELATIVE strength. However you can't deny that DK does not have some seriously strong cards. We have access to Patchwerk, which is such an efficient and destructive source of disruption. We have Frostwyrm's Fury which can end games just by board-locking your opponent and setting up lethal. Hell, even Chillfallen Baron is a good card draw minion for just 3 mana and a 2/2 body with it.
It'd be more like "Gucci is a good quality brand but there are other brands that are just as good and for cheaper."
Once again, DK cards are pretty good but they're caught slacking in a meta where other classes both have strong class cards and can cheate them out much earlier.
Deathknight is an honest class... that means that it doesnt " cheat" himself to win... against most honest decks he is good, but wild isnt filled with honest decks, so in wild he is just utter garbage, especially when you hit diamond or higher...
My personal opinion... feel free to disagree, i wont hate you for that, and merry christmas in advance... be nice to eachother, and to yourself!

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
Almost no streamers I watch are using it
here are some problems I see.
the class is NOT FUN.
the cards are meh....the deck needs corpses where other classes don't.
theres few cards to board clear. just blood and corpse explosion?
low RNG value. Im using thief rogue and its super fun cuz of JACKPOT. DK has almost no cards do discover...except some neutrals like poison scorpion.
the weapons are also meh...no one is using frostbourn hahahha....
I hope the mini set is cool...or next expansion.
what u guys think it could improve?
cant believe the all waited new dk class just arrived and everyone like....yea.,..meh..ok...HAHAHAH so lame.
whats next? MONK PANDA CLASS. I hope it comes in 2023.
go face!
Its a new class. People are still figuring how to play it right. There's nothing wrong with the class.

Can't tell if DK was any good on standard.
On wild on the other hand, even unholy DK was fun thing to play and it had decent winrate from D5 and up. With recent changes things went downhill.
Overall underwhelming.

The Renethal nerf have made Frost DK pretty good, carried me from D8 to Legend in 2 days. Unholy is still useless and Blood is still meh.
