I made one post about this the other day mentioning that I've played Hearthstone consistently since 2017 and never encountered a bot until this expansion. I'm now encountering bots every other match it feels like. Just so everyone one is aware there's a report function to report cheating and then label it with botting. If you aren't sure what botting looks like in general it will very slow almost methodical looking play and usually making very stupid plays (ignoring necessary trades and just going face). The cursor will move very slowly from hand to board or minion to face. From your perspective it will scan minions on your side of the board, if any, from left to right until it gets to the middle minion and then to your hero.
It's mostly been against aggro druid, death knight using all neutral cards, and unholy aggro Death Knight.
You can tell when it's an actual player regardless of it being an aggro deck because they will look like they know what they're doing and actually utilizing their cards abilities rather than unnecessarily going face.
I don't know why there's been such an uptick in botting but the more reports these bots gets the less time they'll be around. If i had to guess I would say it's players from other regions trying to level up accounts on NA servers until they have enough of a collection to want to start playing on that server for real.
Playing since 2017, huh? Guess you took some breaks. This isn't news. Bots have been common since they introduced the reward track. At the start of every season, bots take over to get people to level 100 as quickly as possible. We also see it on the release of new heroes, the purpose being to get those heroes to 500 wins.

You mean you missed out on all the Warrior armor bots? This story is as fishy as can be.
