I know that deathrattle Rogue is one of the best decks right now, but for some unknown reason I have literally not played a single game against it yet.
Did everyone forget Smothering Starfish is a card? Not saying the bullshit Rogue can do right now is justified, but since it's so dominant you might as well slap them in your decks.
In Diamond 1, 22% of all decks played since the Denathrius nerf are Deathrattle Rogue.
If you look at all ranks however, Ramp Druid is slightly more popular, and Blood Death Knight takes the cake with 18%.
Deathrattle Rogue is probably going to get nerfed because it's really strong on top of being very unfun to lose to, as they can early on get boards you have absolutely no ways to deal with.
DK means nothing it's new, people wanna play it but it literally 7-10 in winrate
Plaguespreader priest and quest priest have all the answers to deathrattle rogue. Drown has never been great removal but it absolutely destroys the rogue gameplan. If you are playing a lot of matches against rogue, turn to the light.

Yeah I'm waiting on nerfs lol. 2x 4 cost silence isn't the answer. 800 dust to play a deck still losing to Druid? Rather go Priest and beat both. Starfish is viable but it's not a realistic answer.
It does really well vs deathrattle Rogue (although the Rogue can still highroll) because you can just brand a 8 health taunt and watch the Rogue's health melts away. And starfish is here is you don't draw the right cards to stall and avoid too much insanity.
Miracle Rogue is pretty tough right now, but i'm pretty sure no deck beats miracle Rogue when they draw right. (maybe control warrior, but I tried and it's not consistent, and you lose to way too many other decks instead, so it's not worth it).

tidal trickster ...spells cost zero. blizzard never learns ,who cares 2/2 for 4 when u get to play 8mana spell for 4. it also let scam rogue stay relevant

That's on average. Some builds get as high as 55%. Yeah, it's not a strong class, but you can build a relatively decent deck. But yeah, its large presence in the meta is due to it being a new class.
Losing to Sire Denathrius makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Sire Denathrius nerf makes me want to play this game again. Losing to Deathrattle Rogue makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Prince Renathal nerf makes me not want to play this game anymore.
The problem with both Rogue decks is they feel like shit to play against. You get high-rolled as early as turn 3 or 4 (or maybe 5 with DR Rogue) and have no way to deal with their board. Nothing you did mattered. The mana cheating is disgusting. It's just stupid.
I want to PLAY Hearthstone. By that I mean I want to make decisions each turn and actually interact with my opponent. I would prefer it if games generally lasted longer than turn 5, and by that I mean meaningfully lasted longer. There would be a chance either player could win. A small amount of RNG or mana-gain is fine. But not this nonsense.
If my opponent can simply blow me away early in the game and there is no way I can counter him, what is the point of playing?

DH is another problem for the same reason.
Yep this is my gripe with the meta right now too. The best decks have generally won (either literally or because they are essentially at a "un-loseable" state) by turn 4-5 and each of them is basically a solitaire deck barely interacting with the opponent and collecting their combo. I.e. DR/Mircale Rogue, Sigil DH & Ramp druid.
Priest does provide a counter at least but it's not the most interesting deck.
It's a shame because there are otherwise a lot of fun archetypes brought in with the expansion but they just cant compete.

This DR Rogue deck is absolute bullshit, if you don’t have starfish you lose turn 4-5. The infesting ghoul is absolutely the problem and needs to be brought down to a 2/2 on revive. This would be a strong couple turns but instead currently leads to an unkillable board state Of replicating 5/4’s. And honestly the “infinite” value of 2/2’s or 3/3’s is a reasonable reward for something that you cheat out anyway.
I really wish blizzard would do some testing before release. Cause it’s sooooo exhausting playing the game in this state for weeks/months.

I'm playing Quest Spell hunter with one Smothering Starfish and 2 Sinful Brand . I got to legend with it.

120 games - 16% dk, 15% druid, 12% rogue
What ranks?
