Signature Cards operate on their own pity timer and do not replace existing Legendaries, not even Golden ones. As a result, this means the effective chances of getting a Legendary are higher with the existence of Signature Cards, albeit not by much.
Every Signature Legendary you unpack is a Legendary you otherwise would've missed if they weren't added. Who cares if you're "Losing dust" when you're only losing 20 dust tops, and getting a Legendary instead?

I got the signature DH Outcast legendary, wish I could dust it. I imagine it's fairly good in relic DH but it's like bruh this is 0% useful to me personally.

instead it replaces a common card
the chance that you get a signature card is the same as a golden legendary
so when you get a signature card it doesn't mean it would have been a golden legendary
