Really made these last expansions hot garbage; Denarius was like okay it can be strong but there's workarounds. People playing curselock are the ones with caveman brain ruining the game and whoever made it is worse.
The counter is to kill them before they send enough curses to kill you. Bless/Naga Priest is probably the strongest counter. Miracle Rogue, Enrage Warrior, Aggro DH are also good against it.

English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.
It's an increasingly frustrating archetype to face, indeed. At least until I realized that the curses are their only win-con against a Control deck, which I like to play. If you take away their opportunity to put Curses into your hand, they have nothing (considering you can mostly wipe boards with 1 or 2 cards). I learned to play nothing but the absolute necessary one or two cards to mitigate damage on board. My hand is almost always 9 or 10 cards full after turn 6.
But yes, the fact that one has to actually do the above-mentioned strategy is stupid to begin with.

I love that every time someone brings up something which they consider un fun or broken, there’s always the subgroup of people who say: just use it too! Yeah, wouldn’t be great if everyone was playing Curselock with nothing but tons of mirror matches. Like, think people.
Or the classic: “Oh, it’s not broken, you just have to kill them before they do xyz.” That always makes me smile, the be all end all solution to anything unbalanced is to play aggro before any sort of strategy has the time to be take place.
So basically, okay Curselock or aggro is the solution to everything.

The only counter my Curse ImpLock is having a good hand and a hope I have a bad hand.
Or playing Aggro druid.
Or playing Miracle rogue (I have no way to clear 15/15 shadow turn 5).

They do progressive damage and they stick in your hand for an additional turn? Could this be more idiotic and retarded?
I know tomorrow a new expansion is coming out but I really do not see what can counter this abomination apart maybe from full blood DK… maybe
lmao just play them so they don't do the 2nd tick of damage
Yes sure. You’re so smart. In the meanwhile I have at least 2 mana less per turn if not 4 to defend myself from their full imp board.
