Mage, Shaman, Warlock, Druid and Hunter are in an amazing spot, theres a lot you can do with these classes, ive been experimenting a lot and so far ive found that many different lists are viable within each class.
Rogue, DH, Warrior and Paladin are dogshit.
The abyss between the good and bad classes is the biggest ive seen in a long while, kinda fitting since the expansion theme is rich people exploiting the poor lol.
Rogue and DH were kicked out of the game by Vile Library. Once it gets nerfed (by far the most troublesome card of the set) those classes will be back, easy to do.
Warrior and Paladin are lost causes. No amount of buffs will make ppl play Paladin, the class is a complete snoozefest, desperately need new strategies to spice things up but didnt get any, still playing curvestone like its 2015, SO FUCKIN BORING.
Enrage Warrior needs Battle Rage back. Control Warrior needs all its nerfs reversed, wont happen either. Warrior wont be a class until miniset, maybe not even then.
PS: forgot about Priest haha. Its in the shitlist too, the class cant deal with Ping Mage and Ramp Druid being good at the same time, another lost cause.
I'm not sure how I feel about this expansion. I had fun, now not so much. Sire Denathrius and Celestial Alignment being the biggest offenders.
The rest I can deal with and accept. Sadly to few classes, as always are not really present and thats a shame. Overall it could be better.
Hopefully some balance changes will shake things up.
I would love to see Sire Denathrius being killed and forgotten. What a shitty card.
I’m more ok with denathrius than celestial alignment. It’s like a quest reward that only requires the ramp class to ramp and you get two copies in your deck. It plays as an “I win” card with little counter play or downside. It has been a card that is not healthy in any way for the game, when celestial alignment is good, hearthstone isn’t.

Celestial Alignment only creeps back into the meta when it gets too greedy, a necessary evil imo. The game needs these kinds of safety switches, most people dont like playing back to back 15+ min control mirrors either, just ask CW..

Not entirely true. I have beaten Ramp Druid often enough by stealing his cards with Priest. The most troublesome deck for priest is Hunter. They are so oppressive, there is nothing you can do to stop them.
I hope to see a solo adventure with Murloc Holmes as you figure out each of the 9 suspects so you can finally piece together the final reveal against Denarius

I don’t know if I could disagree more. It’s not for a greedy meta, it enables druids to be extra greedy. When this is being played turn 5, there is no coming back from it. It’s most comparable to quest rewards. This doesn’t equalize greedy metas or even have a downside anymore, it’s currently an “I win” card. If the opponent has lethal on board, it can be a liability, but let’s be honest, you weren’t going to win that implock match anyway.
You are simply a bad gamer with nonsense opinions if you think this expansion is a reprint
If you say so. I want to point out that the interest of this expansion is already gone, and it was even lower than the previous expansion. So, maybe you are the bad one. I don't know how you want to interpret the data, but it looks like a fail to me.
Nonsense opinions are the one without data, my friend. Because nobody cares what one person think. Data don't lie, they represent the thinking of the people, and they are especially good when they similar within different sources. Indeed, Twitchtracker says the same thing: Interest already gone and lower than previous expansion.
Took a long break from Hearthstone and recently jump backed into it with this latest expansion and its been fun to build decks around this new meta. It will be interesting to see how the next nurfs and buffs change up the gameplay tomorrow.
Prince Renethal, and Sire Denathrius have been fun. I've always wanted to see a 40 card deck come to play, so its great to finally see that happen :)
I haven't heard to much noise around Remornia Living Blade, but I was very surprised to see that take an extra turn.. why is that? anyone have any thoughts?

It's fun on Wild (low ranks) and maybe in Non-Ranked, but once you hop over to Standart you'll be unpleasantly greeted by Implock after Implock after Implock after Wildseeds Hunter ... on Bronze Rank ! at least with my current ELO. -_- ;
Nerfs won't do anything either, since Vile Library and Wildseeds are still going to be mostly unaffected.
Oh yea... and Warrior is dead now. 💀

You know what I fuckin love about Castle Nathria. Not being able to attack with minions turn after turn after turn. It's fucking amazing...
you get a freeze - you get a freeze. Everyone gets a freeze!

Denathrius after Denathrius after Denathrius after Denathrius after fck this game already.......

:)

This meta is amazing because the only braindead deck is the imp deck.

Nobody cares about your internet warrior metrics lol. It.s just another nonsense opinion.

Let's get back on the actual topic of the cards and decks of the expansion, please.
This is not the thread for the economics break down of the situation. Start a separate thread for that if it interests you.
If you see a bad post on the forum use the report function under it, so I or someone else of the moderation team can take care of it!
