No. I have not played the past expansion, nearly anything. I am maybe level 20 I don't remember. I uninstalled HS after Diablo Immortal. I was so pissed off with Blizzard for how bad this game went and how they have treated Diablo that I closed everything. I went in this website to check the new expansion, and it is not anything amazing for me (same stupid reprints). I did the subscription with Google Stadia. It is amazing for me (for less than 50 bucks I purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077) I will never play anything from Blizzard again.
They do deserve a massive slap for Diablo Immortal, and I really hope they've got all the mobile gouging shite out of their system so that D4 has a faint glimmer of hope of being an actual game.
HS is still pretty cool though, don't torpedo your HS account just yet because you're pissed with Blizz.
Blizzard needs for sure to suffer for this abomination of Diablo Immortal.
During the past years, it was very difficult for a Mac user to play good games. Blizzard was indeed one of the few companies with interest in Mac users, and they developed nearly all their games for Mac (and I really appreciated that). Other great companies that I can mention (with interest in Mac users) were: Obsidian Entertainment with Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2 and Larian Studios with Divinity 1 and 2 (I played all 4, all 4 great games). Anyway, the choice was very narrow. Meanwhile, cloud gaming arrived around 2018. This service was working poorly, but today is working great. There are many companies in it like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and so on. And by the way, I believe that Microsoft purchased Activision/Blizzard in order to have the exclusivity of Battle.net in their service. Now, that this service exist, I really don't see any value in playing HS and complaining about the excess of coins in mercenaries since October or complaining about reprints. I mean, you can play all Triple A that you want and this will cost far less than a reprinted C'Thun (like they are selling now).
Last year I saw a value in HS (as a Mac user) also because there were no good alternatives. Today there are, the game has got worse, what is its value? But what is the value of Blizzard today, that hasn't produced a good game in years.
There is no world where I spend my time and money on HS when I can play Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3 or Skyrim.
At first I wasn't. There weren't really any deck themes that looked fun. That changed with these theorycraft streams, though. I've watched Regis and Zeddy and token druid, totem shaman, imp warlock and volatile skeleton mage all look much more fun than I thought they would.
Why waste time with the lower Echelon of players like Regis and Zeddy ?
If you watched Thijs or Trump, you'd know how dumb Kael'thas Druid will be, up until the inevitable Emergency nerf.
I don't watch any of those streamers (in fact, I don't watch any streamer at all), but different people have different tastes. Crazy, right?
Deal with it. :)
Nobody is talking with you.
you are the worst person on this website and the worst thing is that you're in every thread :(
I am because it feels like a lot of interesting additions could spice it all up. I've been sick of face decks for awhile so its nice to see some slow down.
Because even if Blizzard used to be a great company, today it is reprinting C'Thun while other game companies are shaping the future of video games. This make an old Blizzard player like me very sad. Anyway, after these years of Blizzard fails ranging from crap games, scams, loot boxes, harassments, reprints, stolen breast milk, photos with Bill Cosby and ads with 800% value, I don't know where to start saying how pissed off I am.
I don't know why Stadia is not working for you. It is only cloud, therefore, you need only internet, and you can play a Triple A game with a computer 20 years old. Indeed, you don't even need a RAM, you can play it on the television. This is the reason why this technology is so crazy. Total War Warhammer 3 is also not on Stadia, therefore I don't know. (https://cloudbase.gg/g/total-war-warhammer-iii/)
You are not switching to Google/Amazon/Microsoft (they are only the owners of the servers) you are switching to all other companies that are developing games (Ubisoft, Rockstar, Larian Studio etc...) All developers have some games in cloud (generally the recent ones), except Blizzard, maybe one day we will understand why.
Anyway, this is off-topic. My answer was simpler.
The question was: Are you excited for the expansion?
My answer: No, I am not. If before, as a Mac user, I was forced to accept things that I disliked (because there were not many games to play) now I will not, because there are better alternatives.

i watched the theorycraft streams and looks like Imp zoo warlock destroys druid.
Druid has an issue to handle an early board buff that snowballs quickly.
Fine for you but why then post on an hs forum?
