Its about time to make mages secrets cost 2, since all other class secrets cost 2 or less.
The game is already in a fast phase, which not allow mages to spend a whole turn to get a secret in play, when other classes have a lot of ways to get their secrets into play (triggering other cards).
Conclusion, mages doesnt have that kind of "shortcut" and their secrets cost 3 Other classes, their secrets cost less and they have other cards to trigger their effects and get their secrets into play
Secret at 3 for mages? Impossible, they should "rebalance" them this way, because any of the mage secrets is so totally playable compared to the other ones

The power of mage secrets is reflected in their higher mana cost.
Sure, they can reduce them to 2, but you're gonna sacrifice power from them if that's the case.
Ice block at 2 is literally just better than the rogue one
Counterspell at 2 better than the paladin one
Flame Ward is a 3 dmg aoe for 2 mana only on ennemies
You see where i am going, at 2 mana every mage secret will be broken (Some are already)
Kabal Lackey Ancient Mysteries Game Master Kirin Tor Mage Mad Scientist Inconspicuous Rider Masked Contender
This is honestely one of the worst takes on a Hearthstone subject I have ever seen since closed beta in 2014.
I am not a wild player, but I am pretty show I saw a lot of anger at this forum about secret Mage. And that already at 3 mana.
Have you ever thought that the higher mana cost is because mage secrets are more powerful? Use your brain.
if you're talking about standard, you're wrong, mage needs more support cards to justify playing secrets, which currently are none
if you're talking about wild that's even worse, they have solid support there and reducing secrets cost to 2 will make them way overpowered
kinda funny they just revealed a new mage secret legendary though by the looks i doubt it will see much play
Yeah, such a weird thread. :(
