I can't prove it but anytime I play from my computer at home I can't get Legend. I play on my phone or computer at my office (after hours of course :) and I always get Legend, interesting...no? :)
I feel your pain, friend. Everytime I try to rank up past D5, there's always a gatekeeper at the final star lmao. Luckily though, my final fight to Legend for the past 2 seasons have been my opponent being either unlucky or playing really bad somehow ðŸ˜
1. How would they rig it? Pair you up with an available player with a tendency to play a deck that counters yours, who is themselves not on the final match before Legend?
2. Why would they do it? Your path to Legend is no different to his, hers or mine and yet other people do get to Legend. So why is your progress being singled out?
Also, take some time to toss a coin a few thousand times. See if there are any sequences of heads / tails that look suspicious...
I think it's nerves, bad luck and lack of games. 3:0 is easy 9:0 a lot harder. You should lose eventually at least.
For me it's more around rank 2. D1-legend is "usually" a pretty solid streak.
This reminds me of the "honeymoon period" theory. Both have the flaw of never including the deck that went 0:6 to 8:6, because you never continue playing that deck.
This is either a low sample size or an example of confirmation bias. I have not noticed such a phenomenon in my 54 successful legend runs. Last fights have not been harder or easier than others.

English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.
It’s probably rigged, but not in the way you want to hear. When I reach legend, I start playing meme decks. I don’t want to have to commit the amount of time it takes to grind and stay at top legend, so I play ridiculous homebrewed lulz decks. If I also see someone gets matched to me that is diamond 1, I will concede. Maybe not the start of the game, because I still want to play, but if I have lethal, I concede instead. That win means a lot more to them than to me.
This is the typical cyclical thread that always ends the same:
First, it is shown that this game is rigged in all aspects to encourage spending (there are Activision patents for it that Blizzard uses in all its games).
And then the fanboys of the multimillion-dollar company appear, denying reality and attributing the suspicions to the mere chance or the famous confirmation bias.
As the discussion never ends because nobody pays attention to reasons, the thread ends up closed... until someone realizes the fraud again and a new thread denouncing it is created...
Not to my knowledge, in fact I always get lucky in the boss fight to legend, incredible draw and rng, but that's just random, no particular reason why I got lucky.
Most likely scenario is you freak out because it's the boss fight and make terrible mistakes. Other likely scenario is your opponent just got lucky and you didn't. Other likely scenario is you had a bad matchup.
is always same i go 5-0 6-0 and last fight is imposible to win first time
No
All this "game" is rigged my friend XD
it was 8-0 and now 8-10

Two questions...

Lol imagine struggling to hit legend, its 10x easier since the rank changes just need to put the games in!
:)

From my experience they are easier, since it's usually against a legend player who isn't tryharding nearly as much as D1 players.
yeah it's definitely not rigged. I've win streaked 15 games to legend b4
Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
The same happend to me. The Game is rigged, you draw poorly and you Face many bad Matches its like the game dosent allow you to win.
heard RNGezus and "0-3 Police" are also notorious Gatekeepers.
Confirmation bias. You might be messing up somewhere while under the pressure of reaching Legend.

No, do you guys think earth is flat too?

But what about your opponent then ? Is the game rigged in their favor ? Why them and not you ? Is the rigging random as well ?
But if you have a 50% chance to get a game rigged in your favor... is the game really rigged ?
