Okay thanks. I’ve never played WOW, but I think I’m getting the picture. Seems people enjoy strategizing builds and learning to play differently with different builds. I guess my issue with that is that a noob like me has not put any effort into builds and I’ve still never died…it’s too easy so builds don’t matter.
I loved Diablo 3, I stood in line at midnight on launch for it and well… it was terrible. The real money auction house was a terrible idea where the endgame you were a low-level blizzard employee. Then reaper of souls changed everything. Rifts, seasons, equipment sets all improved it.
Interesting how opinions differ, because that is the literal opposite of my experience with D3..
I've always hated rifts because of how boring it is to just mindlessly slaughter tons of enemies, there is very little incentive to push for higher difficulties so most of the time you're just melting easy mobs for gear, quantity over quality. This was not the case in early D3 where pushing for high difficulty dramatically increased legendary drop rates.
This is one of the best examples of what makes the game good, there is appeal for different people. Getting a max level and max gear build is just the first for rifts. It takes a very long time to get the prestige levels and best seasonal gear. You also rarely go with a full set, because they are weaker gear with a better buff. Either way, I was doing rift pushing last season with friends and it was about applying dps and actually mapping out exactly where to go to prevent wasting precious seconds because you would kill the rift guarding with no time to spare. It was like playing Diablo on hell level 250.
At least we agree on one thing, Diablo 4 has a lot to live up to.
It's crap. Like nearly all mobile games it's crap becasue it controls likes ass - The game essentially plays itself, the character auto-moves, it's a half-idle game. Complete waste of time, and doesn't derserve to be a 'Diablo' game.
im lvl 48 and it does SEEMS fun. But emblemats and leg gems do scary me. Almost impossible to get leg gems without paying. One per 2 weeks or so. But idk. I wouldn't be so fast to judge. Once i hit max lvl and play for couple of hours there i will decide whether it's p2w or no Im just assuming we dont have access to full content before we hit max lvl. So we dont know if there any other ways to farm leg gems. Maybe it's quite easy later on? Idk. Too soon to judge imo
No and never will. Besides the fact that it's a shitty mobile game, the paywalls are so obvious and monetization so extreme that i don't even consider it.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!
Not gonna touch a heavily monetised game like this. Garbage, no matter the amount of work actually put into it by developers. When game development gets corrupted by greed this badly, it's time to look towards indie games.
what, did you not see the hearthstone 23.4 patch basically were just release only money grab boundles (cringe battleground skins) and every patch does the same, sht game cringe company cringe world, literally don't put any expectation
I’m enjoying it for what it is. Nothing on the store appeals to me tho. There are better games to grind legendaries in. But going through the story on my breaks without paying a penny is thoroughly enjoyable. Really enjoy the controls on ipad.
I am level 60 + 10. I finished the campaign and can confirm that it can be completed without in-game purchases. The longevity is truly impressive. I am astonished about the quantity of contents of this game. There are a lot of things. Now that I understand it better, I can tell you this.
Yes. There is an issue with the legendary gems that are like now only purchasable (you will find very few of them due to missions). It is anyway true that this game is truly massive. At level 60 you theoretically end the game, but there are after hell 1, hell 2 hell 3 and hell 4 (hells are the same maps and raids with stronger enemies and stronger drops). Max level is 60 + 150 (at least, if not more).
So, is it pay-to-win? Yes, and I don't know. If you pay, you can accelerate for sure. The main issue is that this game is so massive that nobody know, like now, what it is in hell 2/3 and 4. For example. Before hell, it was nearly impossible to find normal gems (and now we can find them in inside the raids in hell 1). So I don't know if in hell 2/3 or 4 we will be able to find the legendaries gems.
My opinion is that it is a very stupid position. Because the reality is another, nobody knows what it is inside the levels up to hell 1. So we don't know, and for sure this estimate is dumb.
its fun but you will not be top player unless you use 100k euro
Or play 23h daily. I don't know what is worse.
I am 51 lvl so far and I quite enjoy this. I haven't been forced to buy anything and I checked shop and I really don;t see value here (I have the same in Heathstone) and can play without haste. Your fun from this game highly relates to your exceptation. If you need something to tap from time to time on you mobile phone this game is a great choice. But I wouldn't recommend hardcore this in any way. I think I will finish the campaign, the n do some stuff together with friends and try to max our possibilities in rifts and then return it when some update will came to check this out and catch up lore. And the only thing I would spend my money on are cosmetics if they will be cool or new class as my long beloved Witch Doctor is missing currently.
As I said. Nobody knows that. We don't know if we can't complete a build for a normal amount of money. Nobody knows that because we don't know what it is inside the various "hells". Read my previous post.
Indeed, if I have to tell the true, I am becoming enthusiastic about this game. It is a mix between a simplified Diablo and WOW (similar pvp and battleground). It is indeed what I expected to see in Warcraft Arclight Rumble (which is crap for me).

We do know because they had to release the odds for some drops, because some countries' laws demand it.

I have no interest in mobile games whatsoever, so no, i haven't tried it and i won't.

I'm a simple man, if i saw new game from Blizzard - insta dodge it.

Saw this the other day.

At least in D3 you only spent a ludicrous amount of time to min/max.

No one play PoE for the acts, no one cares that the "story" can be completed for free. This is not how arpg's are played nor designed.
You can't complete a build for a normal amount of money (15-20$/month) thus it's garbagee, simple as that.

Why play a pay to win game?
