Since the patch 23.2.2 the game stop working as usual. Until before that, the game was updating without problems every time a new patch was released. But now it stays in an eternal update loop. I have uninstalled the game and the Battle.net app several times. I have all the content up to date, and it still asks me to download something that it never downloads.
Something like that happened to me, but it crashed after an update and then forever said "playing" or "currently playing" where you press to load Hearthstone from battle.net. I just ended up messaging Blizzards customer service/help thing on their website where you speak on a chat with someone and they fixed it their end and the guy said he ain't seen anything like what happened to me before (I also did every trick in the book beforehand). So sometimes there might not be a fix unless you tell them and they fix it for you
Have you tried the scan and repair function in battle.net app?
Yep, like two times, but I solve the problem. I had to delete the WoW Classic. I went two years without updating it and it had never been a problem, but somehow now it prevented me from downloading the latest hearthstone patchs. Thanks for the comments, it was helpful :)

Someone is having the same problem?
Have you been able to solve it?
You could try installing to a new location, it sometimes helps with issues like this.
