I’m sure this was discussed somewhere before, but abyssal curses progress the quest (kinda bs in my opinion) , and they can use the curse to power the hero power (which does make sense). Had 0 chance of winning that game. Felt bad and seems like a strange interaction.
It's a joke of a deck that loses to everything. But especially to control it loses in humiliating fashion: They just keep 9 cards in hand each turn and watch them eventually die to fatigue unable to execute their plan
That's why you run quest. And discovers. And brewmasters.
With the scorpion, quest discover minion, amalgam and brewmaster, you get so many more options. Also throw curse of agony in there. If control wants to keep its hand full they cant really pressure you either. You also regularly burn some of their cards.
If you reach fatigue you got the quest to save you and it helps vs other curse locks.

Warlock quest is good for the curse warlock mirror. It’s not a false statement, but it’s one I thought I would never hear. Curse warlock is terrible, it’s designed terrible and it isn’t remotely fun to play. It’s the worst designed and worst supported package that even has the worst legendary in the set, or standard. Do yourself a favor and play anything else, blizzard shit the bed with curse warlock.
Sadly Warlock is unplayable. Curselock is hard countered by... keeping full hand. It's a joke. It was supposed to be DH killer, but even DH adjusted and is not as good matchup as it was any longer.

This interaction indeed sucks, but I doubt Curse Lock is doing much better against....well pretty much any other deck
I feel like curse lock is just bad in this meta anyways so it doesnt really matter.
It is a really dumb interaction, but I doubt you have any chance vs QH anyways.
Curse lock progresses both hunters AND warlocks quests. They designed it terribly.
It's a control killer deck. Of course it will do poorly against combo. Even without the quest procs, it probably still loses to the burn.
